Lottie Mae Bush, age 93, of Hodgenville, was born in LaRue County on December 2, 1928, to Lennie Burton and Carrie Lee Bennett Bracket, passed away, Sunday, June 19, 2022, at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville. She was a member of Three Forks Bacon Creek Baptist Church in Hart County. Lottie was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Jesse Herbert "Pete" Bush Sr; four children, David, Joyce, Stevie and Emmitt Bush; her parents, Lennie Burton and Carrie Lee Bennett Brackett; a step-daughter, Rosie Horney; three sister and five brothers. She is survived by a son, Wayne (Betty) Bush of Hodgenville; two grandsons, Jamie Bush of Louisville and Kurt Bush of Elizabethtown; a great-grandson, Carson Bush of Elizabethtown; three step-children, Adeline (Garrett) Chappell of Elizabethtown, Jessie Herbert Bush Jr. and Ruby (David Young) Trumbo all of Hodgenville; 10 step-grandchildren, several step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 12 noon (EST) Wednesday, June 22, at Three Forks Bacon Creek Baptist Church with Bro. Tony Chaudoin officiating. Burial will follow in Hammonsville cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p. m. (EST) Tuesday at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home and after 10 am (EST) Wednesday at the church.
