DeFrank and a loving mother to David (Becky Riffkin) Chodak. Ruth was also a dear sister to Judy (Steven) Dolins, sister-in-law to Sue DeFrank and Joan Beeler, and a loving aunt to Maddie Dolins, Dr. Michael (Meredith) Beeler, and Gabi Kastel. Ruth's impactful legacy includes transformative leadership at Silver Cross Hospital, where she served as President and Chief Executive Officer. Under her guidance, Silver Cross achieved significant milestones, including the opening of Will County's first Level 3 neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and the introduction of an open-heart surgery program, ranking among the state's busiest. She pioneered the Midwest Institute for Robotic Surgery and established partnerships with leading Chicago health systems, ensuring advanced healthcare for the southwest suburbs. Ruth's visionary leadership resulted in Silver Cross Hospital's growth from a 289-bed facility to 348 beds and an expanded medical staff from 350 to over 1,200. Her commitment to community well-being extended beyond healthcare, actively participating in various community boards and organizations. Ruth's dedication to health equity and community support led to the creation of the Silver Cross Healthy Community Commission, benefiting countless lives. Her accolades, including the Athena Award and Distinguished Citizen Award, reflect her significant contributions to healthcare and the community. U.S Veteran of 37 years of service comprised of the Air Force, Air Force Reserve, and Air National Guard. He retired at the rank of Colonel. Aldo served as the president of the National Guard Association of Illinois from 1981 to 1983. He also ran the family business, Zordan Music House, in Roseland, Frankfort, and Blue Island, IL. He earned a Masters of Arts degree from Governors State University in 1975. Most of all he loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his beloved wife Virginia Lee Zordan nee Randolph of 70 years. Loving father of David (Janet McGrath) Zordan, Lawrence (Merri) Zordan, the late Alan (Nancy Pohlman) Zordan, Terrence (Catherine) Zordan. Cherished grandfather of Emma, Amy, Liz, Josh, Larissa, Lisa, Julie, David, Brian, Daniel, and Helen. Cherished great-grandfather of 7. Loving and dedicated mother of Jennifer (Kevin), Jeffrey (Cheryl), and Jill (Tommy); Devoted grandmother of Tristan (Brittany), Isabel, Kaylee, Caden, and Ethan, and caring great grandmother of Paisley. Dear sister of Hugh (Louise) Greenan. Pat had a respected and successful nursing career that began when she became a Registered Nurse in 1968. Being the determined individual she was, she earned her Bachelor\u0027s (BSN) at Lewis University in 1985 while working full time as a nurse and raising three children. She worked at St. Francis Hospital in Blue Island, IL where she innovated many things that had great influences on hospitals today, most famously the family overnight rooms and the pocket on the hospital gowns. After her tenure at St. Francis she took her vast hospital knowledge to Core Solutions and Heartcare Center of Illinois. Besides being an incredible nurse and caretaker to all, Pat enjoyed maintaining her property, gardening, cooking for all and most importantly spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed watching her three children play sports and later in life watching them coach. Although, nothing brought more joy than her grandchildren and great grandbaby. Pat was the ultimate caretaker that always put others ahead of herself, preferred quality time with those she loved and she is known for being \u0026quot;everyone\u0027s grandma,\u0026quot; the role she cherished the most. Philip\u0027s departure leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him, but his legacy as an accomplished entrepreneur and dedicated man will forever be remembered. Philip dedicated an impressive 45 years of his life to entrepreneurship and co-founded the esteemed JV Crane \u0026amp; Engineering, leaving an indelible mark on the industry. His hard work, vision, and leadership were instrumental in the success of the company. Beyond the boardroom, Philip was a man of many passions. An avid golfer, sailor, and motorcycle rider, he embraced life\u0027s adventures with enthusiasm and zest. His love for the open sea was rooted in his time as an Accommodated Sailor in the United States Navy, where he served during the Vietnam War, showcasing his commitment to both his country and the call of duty. Philip is survived by his son, Philip \u0026quot;David,\u0026quot;\u0026amp; Nichole Victor and daughter, Lisa \u0026amp; Chris Valtierra. He is also mourned by his siblings, Sidney Victor, Donald Victor, and Lenore Victor.
