Lorina Laura Anna Rosenbrock Pinconning, Michigan Lorina, age 98, went to be with her Lord and Savior peacefully at her home Wednesday morning April 24, 2019. She was born on February 17, 1921 at her family home in Auburn to the late Fred & Margaret (Schmidt) Wegener. She married Herbert Rosenbrock on December 26, 1942. He preceded her in death on February 24, 1981. Lorina was a devoted member of St. John's Lutheran Church where she was active in the Ladies Guild, Bible Study, LWML, and served on several committees. Lorina was extremely proud of her farming heritage. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards, bowling, senior dances and was an amazing seamstress, most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and was always ready for a game of cards. She attended as many activities that she could with her grandchildren. She had a very special friendship with Elaine Pross who was her travel partner. She worked at the H&H Bakery, Fabric Fair and retired from Kraft Foods. She is survived by her children; Bill (Bunny) Rosenbrock, Alvin (Eileen) Rosenbrock, Kathy Szwed, Julieann Rosenbrock, Elmer (Gail) Rosenbrock, Chris (Tom) Boetefuer, Jeanie (Jerry) Wittkopp, Pudge (Kelly) Rosenbrock, Mary (Tom) Idzior, 27 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, a brother Harry (Hilda) Wegener and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son Delbert, Son-in-laws Bill Szwed and Robert Kraska, a grandchild baby Rosenbrock, brother Edgar (Loretta) Wegener, sister Edna (Walt) Uhlman and a nephew Glen Wegener Funeral Services will be held Monday, April 29, 2019 at 11 am from St. John's Lutheran Church with Pastor David Jung presiding with burial in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home on Sunday, from 1 to 8 pm. On Monday, Lorina will lie in state at the church from 10 am until time of service.
