Lorie Townsend Obituary

| | Lorie Ann Vecchio Townsend, age 48, of Lenoir passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023 at her home. Born December 9, 1974 in Caldwell County, Lorie was the daughter of Gene Vecchio and Linda Allen. Lorie was a member of Crossroads Community Church. The thing she enjoyed most was spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Cathy Allen; an uncle, Robert Allen. In addition to her parents, survivors include her husband, Joe Townsend; her children, David Teniente (wife Zulima), Christian Teniente (wife Anai) and Faith Teniente; two step sons, Michael Townsend and Austin Townsend; a brother, Gene Anthony Vecchio; her step mother, Linda Turnmire; seven grandchildren, David, Cairo, Xavier, Christian, Jordan, Jackson and Marisol. Services are pending, but will be announced later by Greer-McElveen Funeral Home. Greer-McElveen Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the Townsend family.
