Lori Lynn Gimeno, 54, of North Huntingdon, died Thursday, October 05, 2023. She was born July 04, 1969, in McKeesport, a daughter of the late Richard O. and Michaeline A. Thomas Gimeno. Lori was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. She enjoyed cooking and hosting parties for her family and friends. She had been working for Brightside Academy in Jeannette both as a teacher as well as the acting director. She loved spending time with her cats, Baby and Jax and was preceded by her spoiled cat, Neo. She is survived by her loving and longtime companion of twenty-two years, Charles A. 'Chuck' Hadad, Jr. ; her daughter, Jessica Gimeno (fiance Spencer Jordan) of Trafford; Chuck's children, Joseph W. Hadad (Lori) of Penn Township, Charles B. Hadad (Angela) of Cecil and Stephen T. Hadad (Holly) of North Huntingdon Township; her beloved grandchildren, Tyler, Brenden, Alexia, Abbey, Adelena, Joanna and Cooper Hadad; sister, Leanne Carson of North Huntingdon; brother, Brian Gimeno (Debbie) of North Huntingdon; and nieces and nephews, Justin, Samantha and Rebekah Carson and Anthony Gimeno, Rachel Detar (Jake) and Helen Winn (C. David F. Diebel, age 80, of North Huntingdon, died November 24, 2023, at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. Born September 8, 1943, in Portland, OR, he was the son of the late Ele Oren and Matti Jean (Stapleton) Diebel and the loving companion of the late Barbara Jenkner. David was a proud Marine Corps Veteran who served during the Vietnam War. He was a White Oak American Legion Post 701 member and active in Westmoreland County church dartball leagues. He was a car and motorcycle enthusiast with Triumphs, Indians, and Harleys. David was also an avid sports fan rooting for the Pittsburgh teams professionally and Oregon and USC for college. David is survived by sons, David M. , (Christa) Diebel, of Sutersville, and Daniel A. (Jennifer) Diebel, of Port Haywood, VA; daughter, Lisa Pacella, of Pittsburgh; grandchildren, Kayla, Michael, Bailey, Mason, and Austin; great-grandchildren, Hadley and Ethan; nieces, Lisa (Arthur) Jabbour-Kluch and Stephanie (Stephen) Nelson and many other nieces and nephews; step-children, Donald (Lynne) Jenkner of McKeesport, Robert (Joani) Jenkner of Omaha, NE, Shari Ann (Terry) Smith of North Huntington, and Daniel (Erin) Jenkner of Tucson, AZ; step- grandchildren, Nicholas, Ryan, Travis, Tara, Robbie, Benjamin, Laci, Chelsea, and Micha; step-great-grandchildren, Bentley, Lily, Abby, Lukas, Charlie, and Paige. "Ann Gall Pekar, 89, of North Huntingdon, passed away Sunday, Nov. 5, 2023. She was born July 7, 1934, in Wilkes Barre, a daughter the late Michael and Elizabeth (Hricko) Gall. She was a long time member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, in East Pittsburgh. She attended Robert Morris University, where she studied business. She was an executive secretary for the Union Railroad for nine years and then as a secretary at the District Justice in North Huntingdon for more than 20 years. She loved devoting her time and attention to her devoted husband, Joseph E. Pekar, her beloved daughters, Carol Keddie and Joan McFaden, her beloved granddaughters, Blair Joan and Lauren Anne McFaden, and her extended family and friends, who she was extremely proud of. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of more than 42 years, Joseph E. Pekar; and daughters, Carol Keddie and Joan McFaden, who both passed away in 2007; and graduates of IUP University, in Indiana, Pa. She is survived by her sons-in-law, Andrew Keddie and wife, Paula of Peters Township, and Frank McFaden IV and wife, Laura of Jupiter, Fla. , and their extended families; granddaughters, Blair Joan McFaden (graduate of Penn State) and Lauren Anne McFaden (graduate of Auburn University); and cousins, Maryanne Vokel, and daughters, Renee and Tara, and Sue and Paul Miller. She will be missed by very dear friends, Robert and Joyce Garritano (who helped her and her husband throughout their difficult times), Bill and Sue Gooch and family will were instrumental in her granddaughter Blair\u0027s life after the loss of her mother, and Tom and Isabell Hickey and family who were instrumental in her granddaughter Lauren\u0027s life after the loss of her mother; her friends, Byron and Stella Thorton, Jean and Joseph Diak, Elaine Secko, Margie Cavanoaugh and Dick Tady; and lifelong friend, Arlene Eakin, Eugene Humberston (neighbor and dog caregiver) and Doreen Copeman. "Nancy L. (Singler) Waibel, 71, of North Huntingdon, passed away peacefully on Sunday October 29, 2023 surrounded by her family and friends. She was born January 16, 1952 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Delbert L. and Dorothy M. (Wiggins) Singler. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by siblings Delbert L. Singler who was killed in action during the Vietnam Conflict, David J. Singler, and Mary Ann Daniels. She is survived by her children Kristy (James) Reddinger Jr. of Cheswick, Katie (Tracy) Yarbrough of St. Cloud FL, and Edward (Missy) Waibel III of North Huntingdon; her grandchildren Logan, Emma, Jalissa, Jada, and Isaiah; sisters Jeannette (Gordon) Stoves and Dorothy Mae Morris; her lifelong friend Ronald Pisarek; also numerous nieces and nephews. Nancy was a proud mother, fierce protector, and faithful provider; always making sure her children had everything they needed, even if it meant working multiple jobs. After putting her three children through college, she pursued her lifelong dream of becoming a registered nurse. At the age of 50, Nancy began nursing school and later worked as an RN for the VA Medical Center in Oakland and retired in 2022. Nancy loved surprising her family with gifts and adventures, laughing with friends and family, traveling to the Caribbean, and spoiling her grandchildren. Florence A. (Sowa) Coles, 78, of North Huntingdon, died Saturday, November 04, 2023. She was born January 31, 1945, in McKeesport, a daughter of the late Raymond and Lottie Garbowski Sowa. Florence loved trying her luck with scratch off tickets and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins and Pirates. She was Catholic by faith and had been a member of the former St. Mary's of Czestochowa Church in McKeesport. She is survived by her longtime friend and husband of thirty-one years, Henry V. Coles; sons, John Zitz (Charlene) of Las Vegas, NV, Keith Zitz (Michele) of Charleroi, Henry Coles (Renee) and Charles Coles (Amy), all of North Huntingdon; eleven grandchildren, Tiffany (Ryan), William (Kellie), Shawn, Dakota, Rebecca (John), Robert (Cora), Rylie (Bryan), Sadie, Brittany (Reed), Heath (Sarah) and Chad (Nicole); ten great grandchildren; and a longtime friend of both Florence and Henry, Jerry Steel.
