Lorene A. Coplin, age 92, of Ohatchee, Alabama passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023. Lorene was born in AL. Lorene is survived by her daughter Sheila Avery (Lester); her son Terry Coplin (Jane); her son Shannon Coplin (Carron); and her son Ralph Walter Coplin (Wendy); her grandchildren Nicholas Coplin, Kara Coplin, Amanda Coplin, Matt Coplin, Shelley Bennett, Kayla Avery, Josh Coplin and Sierra Coplin, her great grandchildren Gillian Coplin, Brendan Coplin, Ashley Coplin, Logan Blakenhorn, Brooklyn Blakenhorn, Cailin Blakenhorn, Hayley Blakenhorn, Alice Coplin, Bailey Hodges, Alyssa Bennett, Chevy Middendorff and Isabella Hairel and special family friend Preston Hale. Lorene was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Coplin; her grand-daughter Kasey Avery, her siblings Spencer, Jerline, Ralph, Jimmy, Doris, Johnny and Winston, and her parents Wiley and Mae Poe. A visitation for Lorene will be held Tuesday, April 25, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 542 W 52nd St, Anniston, Alabama 36206. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home. Lorene will be laid to rest in Mt Olive Baptist Church Cemetery, Ohatchee, AL.
