Lois Young Obituary

Lois Luke Young, age 94, of Fitzgerald, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2023, at her residence. She attended Antioch Baptist Church, and was a homemaker who loved her family and friends. Mrs. Young was born May 6, 1929, in Fitzgerald, to the late John Luke and Lana Lou Wilson Luke. She is survived by her son, Wiley Young of Fitzgerald; her daughters: Loretta Brady (James) of Fitzgerald; Dale Clayton of Fitzgerald, and Virginia Walls (Alfred) of Rochelle; her half-brothers: James Turner of Montezuma, and Henry Turner of Ft. Valley; her half-sister, Helen Turner of Ft. Valley; 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 6 step-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 11th, at 4:00 p. m. in Big Creek Cemetery, Irwinville, Georgia with Rev. Johnny Ashe officiating. Pallbearers will be Shane Walls, Alfred Walls, Richard Clayton, Ricky Tallman, Allan Young, and Johnny Young. Frazier & Son Funeral and Cremation Services is in charge of the arrangements.
