In Loving Memory of Lois >Emily Clark (nee Ward) January 3rd, 1927 - October 5th, 2023 We are heart broken to announce the passing of Peggy at the Rosedale/Bingham Memorial Hospital, with family by her side on Thursday October 5th, 2023 at the age of 96 Peggy was born in Rutherglen, Ontario At a very young age she came to Matheson as a chosen child of Charlie and Edith Ward Peggy is predeceased by her husband Hugh, daughter Lissa, her parents and siblings She is lovingly remembered by her children Lois (Wes) Crigger of North Bay, Kit (Brenda) of Matheson and Kelly (Mary-Lynne) of Gravenhurst She was doting Grandmother to Wende, Dan, Kerry, Branden and Logan, Great-Grandmother of Tanis, Alexis, Avery, Bryce, Aliya, Charleigh, Josephine, Peyton and Mackenzie Also remembered by numerous nieces and nephews, her sister-in-law Marla Bender and brother-in-law George Green Peggy was a proud Northerner In her younger years she enjoyed skating and playing hockey She loved spending time with friends playing cards and chinese checkers Peggy was best known for her beautifully knitted sweaters, chocolate cake, sense of humour, stubborn streak, and love of flower gardens Special thanks to the Rosedale and Bingham hospice staff, as well the many technicians and hospital staff integral to her care In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Operation Smile Canada or Rosedale Center A graveside service will be held on Monday October 16th, 2023 at 1 pm at the Hillcrest Cemetery, Matheson Funeral Arrangements in care of Irvine & Irvine Funeral Home To to the family or in memory of Lois "Peggy" Clark, please
