Loida Andres Cabiles was born on January 26, 1952 in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte Philippines to Alfredo and Nermecia Robianes Andres. She was one of nine children. She graduated from St. Jude High School and attended Divine World College of Laoag, taking secretarial courses. Mrs. Cabiles worked as a municipal registrar, then became a public servant as municipal counselor for nine years. Loida met Remigio Cabiles, they married and had six children. She enjoyed knitting, spending quality time with her family and Christmas vacations to the Philippines. She had a generous heart and was helpful to the less fortunate. She was always thinking of others before herself, even while suffering with cancer for four years. Loida died on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at her home in Las Vegas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfredo and Nermecia and siblings: lisenio, luzviminda, loreto and lewelyn. Survivors include her husband, Remigio; children: Lorenzo Ringo (Mary Grace), Nerizza (Angelito), Vanessa, Lowella, Regie Ann, Jay Ar Loyds (Natalie); grandchildren: Laira, Lance, Leewayne, Akira, Anfernee, Tracy Bryt, Keoni, Jayssene Troy, lyndzyrille, Prince Jay Ar, Chynna, Jayna Rich, Mahealani, Gianna Anessa, Lorraine Grace and Louisse Sabine and siblings Linelio (Marilou), Edmundo (Marilou), Linda (Phalmarin), Isabelita, and Raul. All services will be held in the Philippines. Local arrangements by Palm Southwest Mortuary.

John Jimenez, a beloved husband, son, father, and grandfather, passed away on December 2, 2023, in Las Vegas, NV at the age of 73. Born on August 30, 1950, in Texas, John was the son of John Jimenez and Herminia Chacon. John's love for being a handyman and his eagerness to help others defined his life. Whether it was working on cars, computers, or lending a helping hand to those in need, John was always there with a smile on his face. He possessed a natural talent for fixing things and enjoyed the satisfaction of providing assistance to his friends and family. Although John dedicated most of his working years as a forklift driver in the warehouse industry, his true calling and greatest joy came from being a grandpa. He cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren, creating precious memories that will forever remain in their hearts. John's warm personality and genuine compassion touched the lives of everyone he met. He was known for his humble nature, always putting the needs of others before his own. His selflessness and ability to make people feel comfortable and loved will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. John leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. He is survived by his loving spouse, Susan Turrubiate, who was his pillar of strength throughout their years together. Their unwavering bond was a source of inspiration to all who knew them.
