Lloyd J. "Jim" Schneider, 80, of Millbury, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at Ohio Veterans Home. He was born in Toledo, Ohio to Lloyd and Theresa (Ryan) Schneider on June 27, 1943. Jim graduated from Lake High School and shortly after was drafted into the United States Army where he proudly served his country during the Vietnam Era. After his service, Jim would obtain his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Toledo in Electrical Engineering. He worked in Instrumentation Controls at SSOE Inc. for several years. On June 12, 1965 he married the love of his life, Clione (Orris). Jim had a passion for music, starting at a very early age, singing in choir from elementary school to the Calvary Lutheran Church Choir until he was unable. He also played guitar in the praise band. Jim was an integral part of the church, volunteering and serving in different capacities throughout the years. His faith was strong, and love for helping others undeniable, but what he cherished most was his loving family. Jim is survived by his wife of 58 years, Clione; sons, Stephen (Kathleen Denson) Schneider, Aaron (Sharon) Schneider; granddaughters, Amanda, Ashley, Abigail, Kaylee, Catherine; brother, Edward Schneider and sister, Sharon Schneider. He was preceded in death by his parents; and granddaughter, Aspen. Friends and family may visit Calvary Lutheran Church, 1930 Bradner Rd. , Northwood, OH, 43619 on Monday, September 11, 2023 from 10:00 a. m. until the time of funeral services at 1:00 p. m. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park. Expressions of sympathy in Jim's name may be directed to Ohio Veterans Home, Calvary Lutheran Church or Alzheimer's Association. Joanne passed away on December 6, 2023 at the age of 95. She was born on November 17, 1928 to Ewald and Lioba Seiler. She graduated from Central Catholic High School. Jo met Donald Clark after someone asked her if she wanted to be a pen pal to him as he was in the US Army Air Police Squad, stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska. They were married on August 23, 1950, and together they raised 6 children. Jo was employed at several retail locations in downtown Toledo. After her marriage to Donald Clark, she began employment with Petrie's in downtown Toledo and then moved to the Woodville Mall until retiring. Jo was always very involved in her children and grandchildren's sports and activities. She spent a lot of time going to hockey games, tournaments, football and soccer games, whatever they were involved in. She was loved by so many and was referred to as "Grandma Jo". Jo loved reading, fishing, walking, bird watching, and seeing Bison and Deer at Pokagon State Park in Indiana, where she and Don would take their grandchildren on vacations. She also loved it when she took trips with her daughters to Pennsylvania to research family genealogy. Her most recent hobby was going to the Hollywood Casino and playing her favorite Tarzan & Buffalo slot machines. Jo is survived by her children, Kathy Jennings, Dennis Clark, Scott (Jennifer) Clark, Eva Leary, Stephen Clark, and Douglas (Sherry) Clark; grandchildren, Michelle (Tim) Urrutia, Donald (Brittany) Clark, Devon (Wayne) Druckenmiller, Angelique (Tanner) Sheehan, Ryan (Keishawna) Clark, Nick Leary, Aaron (Brianna) Leary, Jackie (Eric) Baker; great-grandchildren, Sophia & Levi Druckenmiller, Max Clark, Zayden, Carter & Roman Clark, Ripley Sheehan, Gabe & Haidyn Leary, McKayla Leary, Donivan, Derrick & Daniel Baker; special niece, Kathleen Sheets; brother-in-law, Jim Sheets; and good friend, Bea Gradel. Jo was reunited in Heaven with Don (the love of her life); her parents; sister, Lioba Sheets; son-in-law, Ron Leary; and daughters-in-law, Bonnie Dennison and Sherry Clark. Stephan P. Heschel, 78, of Oak Harbor passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Bay Park Community Hospital, Oregon, Ohio. He was born December 10, 1944 in Fremont, OH the son of Jerald and Madonna (Cooper) Heschel, Sr. He married Mary Lucal on November 28, 1970. He retired from Management at Coca-Cola in 2002. He was a life member of Elks Lodge No. 1718, Port Clinton. He was a Boy Scout of America Leader for 35+ years receiving The District Award and The Silver Beaver Award. Surviving are his wife: Mary; sons: Patrick S. (Sandra) Heschel of Oak Harbor, Brian A. Heschel of Ann Arbor, MI; grandchildren: Diane R. Heschel, Stephan P. Heschel, Zane T. Nancy Lee Reichard, age 76, left the earth peacefully at home December 3, 2023. Her home was her safe haven where you could always find her with a cup of coffee in hand, watching crime and reality shows, and playing Words with Friends. She was a source of advice for many and quick to give a caring word or concern for others. Nancy was born on May 25, 1947 to Charles and Marie (Diekman) Miller in Oregon, OH. Growing up she enjoyed horseback riding but most recently she enjoyed spending time with her family and had a love for all dogs. Nancy leaves behind her three children, Dawn (Rob) Brushaber, Becky (Mark) Dominique, Jenny (Homer) Nowak; her niece, Amber (Tait) Miller; her grandchildren, Monica King, Chelsea (Collin) Carter, Leah (Greg) Johnson, Jake Dominique, Haley Dominique, Calee Reynolds, Cassidy Nowak, Wyatt Miller, Kennedy Miller; her great-grandchild, Cullen Moore; and her special friend and cousin, Marcia Amonette. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Robert Reichard; her parents Charles and Marie Miller; and her guardian angel, Grandma Lilly; and her special companions, Bubba, Sissa, Maddy. Gladys A. Pierson, 85, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away peacefully, Monday, December 4, 2023 at her home. Gladys was born April 1, 1938, in Toledo, Ohio to William and Gladys (Smith) Metzger. In 1956, Gladys graduated from Central Catholic High School. She married the love of her life, John "Jack" Pierson October 2, 1965. Gladys was employed with Gulf Oil and later with the Ohio State High Patrol as a driver's license examiner, retiring in 2000. Gladys is survived by her children, Joan (Mark) White, Nancy Pierson, David (Kyana) Pierson; grandchildren, Tori (David) Ferguson, Elisabeth (Alex) Blanchette, Andrew and Avery Pierson; along with many nieces, nephews, loving family members and dear friends, Barbara, Janet, Mona, Connie, Eleanor, and Carol. Terrance "Terry" Robert Cain was born September 6,1954 in Toledo, Ohio to Robert Cain and Lucille Gilson. December 2,2023, he passed peacefully at home in the presence of his family. On this morning the clouds lifted and his beloved wife Debra Mae Cain ushered him to heaven. Terrance and Debra married at the young ages of 16 and 17 in Lancaster, Mo. and devoted their lives to each other for 44 years. After the passing of Deb, he found sunshine again enjoying his life with Susan Vanpelt. Terry treasured the light, laughter and love that Susie has given not just him but the entire family. Terry served his country in the Army from 1972-1978 in the U. S. and Germany. Following his time in the Army, Terry began his career as a mechanic with Jeep retiring in 2009 with 30 years of service. Terry was a man of "simple things". Terry's pride and joy was his family. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren teaching them anything and everything. Terry was a jack of all trades, there was no project to big and he concurred everything he set his mind too including the reconstruction of his home with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed driving his #22 racecar at Oakshade, gambling on the horses, restoring cars, boating, fishing, and loving his canine companion, Lindsay Lou. Terry is survived by his children Denise Hudson (husband Patrick), Terrance Robert Cain Jr. (wife Hope) and Dean Cain (wife Chassity), Anthony Boyd (wife Amanda) and Derrick Gilbert. Grandchildren Devonn Cain, Brittney Hudson, Michael Schiffler, Brenda Cain, Ashley Cain, Chelsea Medlen, Dylan Cain, Blake Cain, Anthony Boyd Jr, Jayden Boyd, Alexis Boyd, Marina Boyd, Madelyn Boyd, Layla Boyd, Tessah Boyd, Anniah Boyd, Olivia Boyd and 14 great grandchildren. Terry is also survived by his brothers Kevin Cain and Edward Cain. Terry is preceded in death by his parents Lucille (Gilson) Bocanegra and Robert Cain, spouse Debra Cain, brother Randy Cain, great granddaughter Faith Cain, and mother-in-law Donna Dresser.
