LJ was born on April 03, 1949, and passed from this life on September 9, 2023.

Danny Davis officiating. Interment will be at Oakley Cemetery immediately following the service. The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, December 2, from 11 AM until the time of service. George was born on May 25, 1962, in Winnsboro, LA and passed from this life on November 29, 2023 at his home in Columbia, LA. George lived in Gilbert and Wisner most of his life. He was known as a hard worker who would help you any way he could. He was a beloved father and grandfather. He loved everyone and brought love and joy to everyone's lives. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Goldie Marie Rein Denmon; his siblings, Roy Denmon, James Ado Denmon, Jack Denmon, William Jessie Denmon, Richard "RG" Denman, Walter Denmon, Frank Denmon, Faye Denmon Poke, Patsy Denmon, and Jessie Bell Denmon Martin Survivors left to cherish his memory are his son, Jerry W. Smith and wife Christina; fiance, Joyce Wallace; grandchildren, Jerry D. Smith, Frank Smith, T. J. Rials, Jr. , Timothy Rials, Brittanie Christman, Brishauna Barrentine, Avianna Adams, and Drake Adams; Siblings, Johnny Denmon, Bobby Joe Denmon and Mary Denmon; special sister-in-law, Elaine Smith. He is also survived by several great grand-children, nieces, nephews, family, and friends. The pallbearers will be Jesse Smith, Shelby McKenzie, Darrel Crum, Eric Smith, David McKenzie and Paul Freeman.Show more

Funeral services for Mrs. Inita Lively, of Vidalia, formerly of Crowville, will be 2:00PM Friday, December 1, 2023 in the chapel of Young's Community Memorial Winnsboro with Pastor Larry Wagoner officiating. Interment will follow at Harris Cemetery in Swampers under the direction of Young's Community Memorial. Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Thursday, November 30, 2023 at the funeral home. Mrs. Lively was born July 5, 1933 in Baskin, LA and passed from this life on November 28, 2023 in New Orleans, LA at the age of 90. She married her husband, Robert Lively on October 23, 1952 in Rayville, and they resided together near Crowville where they were longtime members of Lone Pine Baptist Church. She was a supervisor for the garment factory in Winnsboro for 25 years where she retired, and then worked as a cafeteria server for the Franklin Parish School System for over 7 years. She later moved to Vidalia, LA and has been a member of Westside Baptist Church in Ferriday for over 20 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Lively; her parents, Willie L. Loyed and Nellie Jordan Loyed; three brothers, Tommy Lee Loyed, James A. Loyed and Willie L. Loyed; and two sisters, Vera Dee Bartlett and Rosetta Coston. Survivors include one son, Robert Loyed and wife, Kristin of Vidalia; one daughter, Brenda Lively Cockerham and husband, Courtney of Vidalia; eleven grandchildren, Derrick Olivo and wife, Elizabeth of Baskin, Matthew Long, Jr. and Mason Long of Vidalia, Holley Cockerham of Laurel, MS, Heidi Cockerham of Vidalia, Sarah Lively and Chloe Lively of Phenix City, AL, Haylee Thornton, Curt Thornton, Blake Loyed and Tyler Loyed, all of Vidalia; sister-in-law, Edna Loyed of Haughton; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Pallbearers will be Tommy Loyed, Eddie Loyed, David Loyed, Charles "Chuck" Loyed, Bill Stahlman and Danny Vail. Honorary pallbearers will be her beloved grandsons.Show more

Funeral services for Mr. Johnny Ford of Crowville will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 8, 2023, in the chapel of Young's Community Funeral Home in Winnsboro with Bro. Dustin Ford and Bro. Trey Leach officiating. Interment will follow at Crowville Masonic Cemetery in Crowville under the direction of Young's Community Memorial in Winnsboro. The visitation will be from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Johnny was born May 9, 1945, in Crowville, LA and passed from this life on November 3, 2023, at his home in Crowville, LA at the age of 78. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank, and Lucille Cox Ford; sister, Betty Jo Ford Pylant; sister-in-law, Barbara Ford; brothers-in-law, Gerald Pylant and Max Anthony; special uncle, Bobby Cox. Johnny was a proud American and was honored to have served in the U. S. Airforce during the Vietnam Era, 1963-1967. He loved playing the guitar for family and friends and playing beside his nephew and grandsons. Fishing became his true passion; he wanted nothing more in life than to fish through retirement. His preferred fishing partner was his wife Shirley and they fished together for over 40 years. Johnny was a farmer and prided himself on farming the same acreage where he was born, and later left this world, (as he wished). When his uncle B. D. introduced him to the job of being a crop insurance adjuster, it was a perfect fit, he could visit farmland all day, and especially other farmers. Crop Adjuster was a job he would keep until Parkinson's forced him to retire. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Williams Ford; children, Johnny Keith Ford and wife Laura, Pamela Hendrixson and husband Jerry Wayne, Mark Ford and April Ford; grandchildren, Sarah Ford, Joshua Hendrixson, Jessica Bryan, Chrissi Leach, Trey Leach, Dustin Ford, Kara Paige Ford, and William Ford Rockett; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings, Gerald "Jerry" Ford, Annette Antony, Allen Ford and wife Wendy. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Pallbearers will be Joshua Hendrixson, Frank Ford, David Pylant, Kenny Pylant, Jake Cassiday, Todd Cassiday. Honorary pallbearers will be Bull Williamson, Daniel Williamson, Zack Williamson, Adam Williamson, and Nicholas Williamson and Dee Pylant Long. A special thanks to Jennifer and Bull Williamson and sons for their friendship. To Tiffany and Todd Cassiday for being the best neighbors the family could ask for. To longtime friend Sherry Holland. To his long-term IV nurse, Denise Thompson, for 5 years of loving and caring service and care. And to long-term caretakers, niece Lanee Guillot and grandson William Ford Rockett.
