Herr went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at the age of 60.Cherished mother of Alyssa and Samantha Herr; their respective partners Keegan Wood and Sacha Huriot; beloved daughter of the late Virginia and Frank Herr; dear sister of Janice (Lanny) Brooks, Nancy (Walter) McDonnell, Mary Ann (Brent) Butler, Christine Herr, Maureen (Jason) Nissing, and Michael Herr; cherished cat mom to Gigi, her bird, Stevie, and her dog, Romeo; loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend to many.Ellen was an animal advocate to all creatures. Loving husband to Suzan Bargen (nee: Johnson) of almost 54 years; cherished father of Matthew (Shelly) Bargen, Melissa (Gregory) Webber, Mary Anne (Archer) Bargen, and Melody Bargen; proud grandfather of Ned Bargen, Haleigh Webber, Courtney Webber, Hunter Fox, Laney Bargen, Lindsey Webber, Jett Fox, Kiarra Stillman, and Keegan Stillman; dear brother of Judy Kuhlman; dearest cousin, uncle, great uncle, and friend to many.Larry was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Lucille Bargen, his mother-in-law Mary Imogene Johnson, his brother Don Bargen, brothers-in-law John Kuhlman and Sam Johnson, and his beloved dog Bella.Larry above all loved his family and loved having family gathered nearby. He was devoted to his Christian Faith and lived a life focused on the goodness of God. He was an active member of First Free Will Baptist Church. Larry proudly and honorably served in the United States Navy as a submariner from 1961 to 1965. Larry was an avid reader, his love for reading didn't have bounds and he would read any and all genres. Larry also enjoyed a relaxing day fishing. His steadfast devotion to his friends and family, his tight hugs, and kind heart will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital and Shriners Children's Hospital.

Beloved sister of the late Michael Hagan, the late Kathleen Hagan, Patricia (the late Larry) Maes, Timothy Hagan and the late Thomas Hagan. Cherished aunt of Chris (Wendy) Hagan, Colleen (Dennis) Foeller, James (Eliette) Maes, Lisa Maes, Sharon Maes, and Chrissy Maes. Great-aunt of Devin Foeller, Aidan Foeller and Tyler Hagan. Fran was a beloved great-aunt, cousin, teacher and friend of many.Fran was born in St. Louis to the late James and Helen Hagan (Nee Kittel). Fran was an incredible elementary teacher for nearly 40 years. She saw great value in children and had an impact on many lives. One major contribution Fran made, was to establish the Affton Third Grade Olympics. She was greatly sports-minded and taught her students the value in structure, team building and having a good time. Fran's legacy endures in the Olympics which continue to bring children joy and good sportsmanship to this day, 28 years later. Fran's success was also recognized through her many achievement awards, including The National Board Certification, Teacher of the Year, Excellence in Teaching Award and the 9th Edition of Who's Who Among American Teachers.Above all, Fran loved her family. She adored the time she spent with her nieces and nephews. She often took them to The Botanical Gardens, and Barnes and Nobles and treated them with the respect she knew children deserved. Fran was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who had the joy to know her.Services for Fran are currently pending.

With a steadfast Christian faith, Henrietta\u0027s unwavering dedication to her beliefs illuminated the lives of those around her. She was born February 15, 1925, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Henry and Blanche (Fritsche) Stults. She married Reed Very and he preceded her death at an early age. She later married James W. Kern who also preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Margaret Balderas. Henrietta is survived by her sons: Reed (Diana) Very of Jefferson City, Missouri, and Dexter (Debbie) Very of Florissant, Missouri; and 8 grandchildren. Embodying grace and compassion, Henrietta\u0027s life was a testament to the values she held dear, cherishing her time spent reading her Bible and nurturing her spiritual life. A funeral service celebrating Henrietta’s life and legacy will be held at Valhalla Chapel of Memories, 7600 St. Charles Rock Road, St. Louis, Missouri, on Monday, March 11, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. A visitation will be held before services from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, 5239 W. Theodore "Ted" Joseph Sulzer Sr., was Fortified with The Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Saturday December 16th 2023. He passed away peacefully at home on February 24, 2024 at the age of nearly 99. Loving son of the late Victoria (Nee Hetkowski) and Stephen Sulzer. Beloved husband of the late Mary Sulzer for 73 years. Loving mother of Ted Jr. (Sharon) Sulzer, Patti (the late Karl) Lawson and Steve Sulzer. Loving Dziadzia of Nicole Sulzer, Mehgan Sulzer, Katie (Joel) Lawson-Burton, Kayla (Brian) Dunlap. Dear Great-grandfather of Lana Sumner, Lennon, Austen, Elliott Dunlap and Theodora Jane Burton. Loving brother-in-law of Dolores Burdzy (the late Edmund), the late Henry and Josephine Podolski, the late Frank and Marilyn Sendobry and the late Jack Sendroby. Our dear uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend to many.Ted was very proud of his Polish heritage, being a member of The Polish Falcons and singing in the choir at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church. Ted took pride in serving in the Navy at US Naval Airbase #825 in the South Pacific Islands in WWII. Ted was a member of The Greatest Generation, decorated naval veteran and Past Commander of American Legion Post 380. He was retired from Mallinkrodt for 36 years and a 60 year member of UAW local 1887. Ted was a good story teller, enjoyed playing with his dog Lulu, reading, puzzling, kick-boxing, playing the accordion, time with family and friends, and watching the Blues and Cardinals games. Rest in Peace Pops, no more worries. A long life well lived.The family would like to thank Accent Care Hospice and United Energy Workers nurse Mandi, for keeping Pops comfortable. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in ted's name to Toys for Tots, Humane Society of St. Louis, The USO, St. Jude Children's Hospital and St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church.A Visitation for Ted will be held at Hutchens Mortuary (675 Graham Rd. Florissant, MO 63031) on Sunday, March 3rd from 4:00pm-8:00pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Stanislaus Kostka Polish Catholic Church at 11:30am on Monday, March 4th, 2024, with burial to immediately follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, including Full Military Honors.

Karen "Meo" Marie LaRocca passed away February 19th, 2024. Karen was born May 19, 1966, in Saint Louis, Missouri. She is preceded in death by her daughter Ashley LaRocca, mother Eileen, and father Joe Larocca.Karen is survived by her son Nathan Hennessey (Meghan Levin), her sister Kimberly Elliott, best friend Scott Hennessey, Son in law Kevin Mansco, and her 4 grandchildren, Chloe and Amelia Hennessey and Bennett and Elizabeth Mansco.Karen grew up in Florissant, Missouri. Raised by her mother and father, with her sister. Karen was a beautiful soul whose life centered around her 4 grandchildren. She was always the happiest when surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was a great friend to many. Meo had a spirit for life and adventure that was contagious to all around her.Karen had a rough last 6 months with many hospital stays following a heart attack and stroke, but she never lost her tough fighter mentality. She was never one to be held back or held down, and so it was time for her to be returned to God. Karen was a gift to us all, and she will live on through her son, sister, daughter in law, best friend, son in law, grandchildren, friends and all of us in the many wonderful memories we have of her. Please join us to celebrate her life and legacy.We believe she would not want a formal service but a Celebration of her life, at a date and time to be announced in the near future. Thank you to all.
