A Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Gloria Glenn Holloway, 77, is set for 3:00 pm Saturday at McPeters Inc. Funeral Directors Chapel. A family and friends gathering will be held Saturday, December 9, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 2:50 pm at McPeters Funeral Directors. Gloria died December 4, 2023 at her residence. She was born October 23, 1946 in Alcorn Co. MS to the late Billy Gene Glenn and Bonnie Gann Glenn. She was a 1964 graduate of Corinth High School and attended Northeast MS Community College. She worked at Corinthian Furniture for over 26 years. Gloria was a avid Alabama fan! She enjoyed her Corinthian family and spending time and traveling with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Holloway; daughter, Kristie Holloway Chapman and her parents. She is survived by her sons, Jay Holloway (Jody) and Michael Holloway (Hilary); brother, Bill Glenn (Judy); son-in-law, John "H. C. " Chapman (Sherry); grandchildren, Christian Campbell, Brandon Chapman, Olivia Holloway, Sophie Holloway, Jenna Blair Holloway, Jedediah Gray, Ireland, Machaela, and Madeline; great grandchildren, Deacon, Oakleigh, Easton and Shiloh; uncle, Noel Gann; and a host of other family and friends. Randall Suggs A Celebration of Life for Randall Suggs, 76, will be Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Chewalla Baptist Church beginning at 11am. Burial will follow at Indian Creek Cemetery. Bro. Richard Doyle and Bro Jetta Forsythe will officiate the service. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 1, 2023 from 6pm until 9pm and on Saturday from 10am until service time at the church. Randall passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at his residence. He was born on June 21,1947 to the late Willie and Annie May Suggs. He graduated from Ramer High School in the class of 1965. He was a member of Chewalla Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. Randall was also a member of the Selmer Masonic Lodge #338 and recently received his 50 year pin for dedicated service. He loved to read, sing and visit with others. For those that knew him, he never met a stranger. He was known as a loving and outgoing person. However the thing that he enjoyed most of all is spending time with his family. Randall was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Mary Frances Suggs; a brother, Jim Suggs; and his granddog, Gizmo. He is survived by his daughter, Melissa Watkins (Jody); his wife, April Suggs; his brothers, Jerry Suggs, Wayne Suggs (Barbara), and Gary Suggs, Sr. (Elsie); his sisters, Debbie Lawrence (Donnie) and Eloise Beavers; and granddogs Bayley, Jax and Wally. Funeral services for James Bryan Clausel, 64, of Corinth, MS are set Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at 2pm at Oakland Baptist Church with interment in City Cemetery. Bro. Chris Aday and Dr. Randy Bostick will officiate the service. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 28, 2023 from 4pm-8pm and Wednesday, November 29, 2023 from 1pm until service time at Oakland Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Ward Bynum, James Callahan, Richard Clausel, Rickey Kiddy, Wiley Lantz, Patrick Poindexter, Keith Rinehart, Christopher Shipman, Jimmy Stricklen, and Tim Tyson. Honorary pallbearers will be the deacons of Oakland Baptist Church, David Ray’s Sunday School Class, and the "Highway Men''. Bryan was born December 30, 1958, to Jesse and Ruth Clausel. He was a 1976 graduate of Corinth High School who loved farming, scouting, and meeting people at the family business he and his sister, Annette, owned together. Bryan learned the jewelry business from his dad and uncles who founded Clausel Brothers Jewelry and Sporting Goods Store in 1947. His dad, Jesse, taught him jewelry repair and design as well as customer service. Bryan was a member of Oakland Baptist Church where he served as an usher, the Secretary/Treasure for the deacons, taught Awana to third-sixth grade boys and participated in two mission trips, one to Canada and the other to Ecuador. One of his favorite times of the year was the Passion Play. He volunteered often to be a greeter for regular Sunday services and any other services where he was needed. Greeting people, especially on Sunday mornings, was one of his favorite parts of his ministry within the church. Bryan served on several boards within the community including the 4-H, Crossroads Museum, and the Corinth City Cemetery. He was a member of the Alcorn County Cattleman’s Association, Downtown Small Business, and the Alliance. Along with his dad, he had been an active member in the Corinth Evening Lions Club where he was able to repair eyeglasses for free. He participated in White Cane Day as a fundraising event with the Lion’s Club. Bryan was a Free Mason with the Corinth Lodge #116. He, along with his sister, were sponsors for the Delta Waterfowl Association. He was a member of the Kiwanis Club and enjoyed helping the Kiwanis Golf Tournament, the Father Daughter Ball and the Leon Frazier Gospel Singing. He was honored to be chosen as the Kiwanian of the Year for 2023. Bryan was an active member of the Boy Scouts of America and served as an assistant Scout Master for Troop 123. He served on various Eagle Board of Reviews, Eagle projects, and served as the Charter Organization Representative and District Commissioner for Jacinto District. He received the District Award of Merit and was a Silver Beaver as well as a James E. West Fellow. In the order of the Arrow, Bryan was an advisor for the former Chicksa Lodge and newly renamed Ofi’ Tohbi Lodge. In the Order of the Arrow, he received the Arrowman of the Year, Founder’s Award, and was a Vigil Honor Member. Bryan served on the Board for the Yocona Area Council as well as the newly formed Natchez Trace Council. He was Wood Badge trained and served on staff as well as serving as the Scout Master for the first Natchez Trace Council Wood Badge in early 2023. Bryan also served on staff for several National Jamborees, National Order of the Arrow Conference, and Conclaves. Bryan also enjoyed volunteering with the scouts every year helping organize toys for the Lighthouse Toy Drive. Bryan is survived by his wife of 42 years, Stephanie; three children, Ashley, Alan (Ally), and Andy Clausel; one granddaughter, Lennox; his mother, Ruth Clausel; sister, Annette Hayes (Dale); sisters-in-law, Tracey Rogers and Dawn Wilbourne; nephews, Ward Bynum (Sarah), Christopher Shipman and Wiley Lantz (Linda); nieces, Gentry Stafford (Gabe) and Rebecca Rogers. Bryan is preceded in death by his dad, Jesse Clausel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bryan Clausel Memorial Scholarship at Trustmark National Bank, Corinth, MS.
