"Linnette Patricia Clarke, age 59, of Cary, North Carolina, passed away on 3 September 2023, after a brief illness. Linnette was born on 3 October 1963 to parents Alfred Clarke and Gwendoline Andrews-Clarke in Georgetown, Guyana, South America. After Linnette graduated from North Ruimveldt Multilateral Secondary School in Guyana and immigrated to the United States, she enlisted in the U. S. Army, briefly served in the U. S. Navy and then joined the U. S. Air Force. She was stationed at Fort Lewis and McCord Air Force Base in Washington State. She served one tour of duty in South Korea and was honorably discharged from the Air Force in March 2012. While serving in the U. S Air Force Reserves, Linnette attended Saint Martin's College in Lacey, Washington, where she earned a bachelor's degree in education. After graduating, she started in the teaching profession in Olympia, Washington and simultaneously kickstarted her 15-year career in the medical staffing industry. Linnette subsequently earned a master's degree with an endorsement in Special Education and continued teaching at various Virginia and North Carolina elementary schools, before committing herself to her medical staffing company full-time. Linnette met her husband, Dennis Nuenke, in Olympia, Washington, in 1997. They were married in April 2002. Linnette and Dennis were blessed with two children; Jonathan Nuenke, currently in his junior year of studies at the University of North Carolina and Jada Nuenke, currently in her freshman year of studies at Wake Tech in Raleigh, North Carolina. In 2019, Linnette dedicated herself full-time to her medical staffing company; Diamond Healthcare Group, Inc. , and served as its Chief Executive Officer until her death. Linnette's favorite pastime was baking with her daughter Jada, sewing and gardening. Linnette was predeceased by her father Alfred Clarke, mother Gwendoline Andrews-Clarke and brother Joseph Godfrey Andrews. She is survived by siblings Alfred Claymont Clarke, Dr. Carrell Clarke-Europe, Cheryl Clarke, Malcolm Clarke, Dr. Charles Clarke, Donna Clarke and many aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and other family members who love and will miss her dearly. Services for Linnette will be held at St. Michael, the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, 804 High House Rd. , Cary, NC 27513, Friday, 15 September 2023 at 11:00 a. m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to American Autism \u0026amp; Rehabilitation Foundation, a non-profit organization championing a cause near and dear to Linnette's heart; "removing barriers between special needs children and their ability to shine in the world. ""
