Funeral services for Lindy Anne Wooldridge, 86, of Greenville will be held on Friday June 24th, 2022 at 11 O'Clock at Mortimer Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 10 O'Clock until the start of the service. Interment will follow the service at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Greenville. She passed away on Monday June 20th, 2022 at The Pinnacle Nursing Home of Greenville. Lindy was born to James Nelson and Mary Victoria Starnes in Crawfordsville, IN on March 12th, 1936. She was a school teacher for Greenville Public Schools and a resident of Greenville for 50 years. She was Methodist in faith and a member of The First United Methodist Church of Greenville, Greenville Garden Club, State Bird Watching Association and participated in Church Choir. She was an American Red Cross Volunteer and was known to be a gourmet chef. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Temple Wooldridge and a number of siblings. She is survived by two children: Gregory (Rebecca) Wooldridge of Little Elm, TX and Robert Nelson Wooldridge of Greenville, MS.
