Linda Robinson Obituary

"Linda Smith Robinson (aka: Kitty or Miss Kitty), age 76, of Charlotte, NC left this world on April 12, 2023 at her home in Charlotte, NC. A native of Charlotte, she was born at Presbyterian Hospital on February 15, 1947 to parent\u0027s John F. Smith and Alma Jean Blackwelder Smith. Linda was a graduate of East Mecklenburg and went on to have several fulfilling careers through out her life, to include; dentistry, cosmetology, school bus driver, and an unforgettable job with New World Records back in the day, where she made lifelong friendships and was able to score Bruce Springsteen tickets on the regular! She loved anything music and art related. Kitty had a passion for creation and an imagination to bring her art to life with any material she could get her hands on, including treasures found in other people's street side trash. She was an avid yard saler and thrifter, always finding ways to make that almighty dollar stretch. Kitty loved all animals and thought them to be angels on earth in disguise. She marched to the beat of her own drum and many followed behind her just to see where she would end up. Linda will be most remembered by her family and friends for her infectious laughter, imagination, charisma, her lifelong love of Bruce Springsteen, her ability to dance to any music, and those loving hugs she so willing handed out, to name a few. Kitty was preceded in death by both her parents. She is survived by her greatest accomplishments, her children; Jodi Seiden of Matthews, NC, Katie Robinson of Charlotte, NC, Jess Randall of Gastonia, NC, and Jamie Furr of Charlotte, NC. Grandchildren; Cole and Mason Wooten, Caleb Burch, Cameron Robinson, Quinnley Kissiah, Dylan Furr, and her beloved dog River. Her legacy lives on in all of us. A service of remembrance and celebration will be held Saturday, April 29, 2023 in the mausoleum at Heritage Funeral Home in Weddington, NC at 11am. "
