Linda Parsons Obituary

Linda Parsons passed away very unexpectedly with her family at her side. Linda Parsons was born and raised in San Francisco as Linda Rose Roggero by parents,Caroline and Charles B. Roggero who were proudly from Ferno, Italy. Linda was the middlechild, with her older and dearest sister, Joan Beauregard passing in 1997, survived by nephewMatthew Beauregard (Sharon) and survived by her beloved younger brother Paul Roggero(Chris). In junior high school Linda was introduced to Donald by her cousin Lola Fabiano. Donald wouldinvite Linda to grab an ice cream and the rest is history. In 1963 at the age of twenty, Lindawould marry Donald Parsons and recently celebrated 60 years of being happily married. Shortly after marriage, they would have two children, David and Denise. Linda loved and adoredher two grandsons, Vincent and Brian, as well as daughter in law Pat, Jessica (Boomer) andOlive. Always the hard worker, Linda started in the medical field as an X-Ray technician in a privatepractice in Pacifica, and would enjoy working for many years at the San Francisco AirportMedical Clinic where she made many dear friends and was looking forward to returning to work. With a love and passion for flowers, her and Don would attend floral shows and events. Manyfriendships would bloom as they would be members of many organizations, some of her mostmemorable and proud was the planting and maintaining of the Rose Garden in Golden GatePark and was an active member of the African Violet Society. Linda loved and cared for her family and friends and was considered the rock to most, she wasalways a fighter up to the very end. During this difficult time, the family would like to say a special thank you to the many cousinsand in-laws for their care and support. And to all of those who have shared stories. The warmoutpouring of how much Linda was truly loved in return has given us great comfort at this time. Linda was truly one of kind and will be dearly missed by all.
