Linda Susan Nelson of Backus passed away surrounded by her family on June 11, 2022. She is now with her beloved family that preceded her in death: father, Leonard (2020); mother, Gertrude "Sally" (1996); and sister, Wanda (1998). Linda was an amazing aunty to her niece, Brandy Watkinson (Tim Watkinson); nephew, Brandon Dahlin (Bethany); and great nieces and nephews: Carter, Gavin, Sophia, Tanner and Zoey. Linda was a published author and a caring, generous woman spending most of her time taking care of others. We will always remember Linda as an admired daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend that will be dearly missed. Linda's final resting place will be near her father, mother and sister at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery and will take place with a private ceremony.
