Linda Louise Jackson was born on November 18, 1949 in Manhattan, New York to the late McKinley Stacker Jr. and Bertha O. D. House. Linda accepted Christ at the age of seven at St. Clement Church in Queens, New York. Linda received her education in the West Babylon Public School System graduating from West Babylon Senior High School. She continued her education attending Dowling College located in Oakdale, New York. Linda entered the workforce and was employed at the Four Seasons as a Marketing Director for many years. Linda was known to be a very devoted wife, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She was a very nurturing and loving mother and grandmother. Linda had a deep love for music, dancing and singing even when you knew she couldn't, that never stopped her. She had a beautiful personality, funny, very knowledgeable and unimaginable strength and wisdom. Linda was an activist who had an unwavering love for her people. She was quick-witted with a silver tongue that could either build you up or humble you. Linda was many things to people, but to her family she was a super hero who will be greatly missed. Linda married Charles Emory Williams Jr. and they remained as one until his demise. She then married Leroy Harris Jackson and they remained as one for fifty years. Linda was proceeded in death by her first husband, Charles Emory Williams Jr. ; parents, McKinley Stacker Jr. and Bertha O. D. Stacker; sister, Dolores Steiner; two grandsons, Elijah O. D. McCoy and Ollie Vernon Stevens Jr. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Leroy Harris Jackson; children, Tanya O. D. Williams, Sonya Ann Jackson and Jacob Leroy Jackson; grandchildren, Olivia Simone Wilder, Maya Lee-Jackson Bedford, Linda Louise Jackson Bedford, and Jada Tanya Jackson; siblings, Mildred Earlene Stacker Hasty, Carol Ann Stacker- Slater, Umeme Umari and McKinley Stacker III and a host of many relatives and friends.
