She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Tommy Evans and parents, Eschol and Bertha Mae Ryals. Mrs. Evans was a Secretary for Grimes Farms. Mrs. Evans is survived by her children, Cindy, (Buddy) Burnette of Alma and Jeff (Tiffany) Evans of Hazlehurst; 4 grandchildren and brother, Eschol (Dorris) Ryals of Helena. Mrs. Anderson best known as "MeMa", was a sweet lady, full of love for her family and friends. She loved flowers, cooking, family get-togethers, and filling her yard with blow-up decorations at Halloween and Christmas for all to enjoy. She was preceded in death by her husband James Richard (Monk) Anderson; parents Lewis Daniel (Tuck) Yancey and Jessie Mae Dowdy, daughter Marylyn (Merv) Harbin and a grandson Marty Neal. She was a former restaurant owner and a retired cook for Southern Charm Personal Care. And a member of Oak Grove Methodist Church. Girlie was survived by her children Gary (Janie) Anderson of McRae, Elaine (Edwin) Neal of McRae, Teresia (Charles) Spires of Rhine and Bobbie (George) Willcox of Augusta; Grandchildren Mandy (Quincy) Hudson, Candi (Shannon)Jarvis, Ben (Jo Beth) Anderson, Jared (Leanne) Anderson, Jeremy Harbin, Gillian (Jamison)Dowd, Jamie (Leslie) Neal, Kyle Spires, Kristen Price, Amy (Jeremy) Kaiser, Christopher (Christen) Willcox, Lyndsey Willcox and Noah Henry Wilcox; 30 Great-Grandchildren; Brother-in-law Roy (Shelia) Anderson; Numerous Nieces and Nephews also survive. Mr. Ashley was an Engineer with the United States Navy, Maintenance with Sunbeam Products, an Insurance Agent with Delta Life Insurance, Maintenance with McRae Manor Nursing Home, was well known as "the Bread Man" with Derst Baking Company and was a service man with Quality Tire. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Most importantly, his family was his main focus. Mr. Ashley is survived by his wife of 52 years, Suellen Simmons Ashley; children, Jimmy (Janet) Ashley, T. L. (Lisa Marie) Ashley and Britney (Dustin) Jones; grandchildren, U. S. N. AD2 Michael Ashley, Kimberly (Chris) Ramirez, Breanna Lee Ashley, Cole Ashley and Jay Ashley; great-grandchildren, Amelia Rose Jones and Parker Reid Ramirez; brother and sisters, Mary Ann Hudgins, Jack (Cheryl) Ashley, Joyce Callaway and Sonja Moon; aunts, Maxine Towns and Shirley Ashley; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
