Linda Dunn Obituary

We are saddened to announce the passing of Linda Darlene Dunn, age 73, who passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was born March 8, 1950 to the late Eugene Gentry and Dorothy Absher Gentry of Mountain City, TN. Darlene Loved Garage Sales, Yard Sales, Flower Gardening, Cooking, and Traveling. She was preceded in death by her brothers: Burnice Gentry and Paul Gentry; her stepson and Larry "BIG L" Dunn,In addition to her mother, Dorothy Gentry, those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Larry Dunn Sr. ; son, Doug Price (Kelly) of Erwin, TN; step son, Robert Dunn of Mountain City, TN; sister, Janie Trivette (Brian) of Vilas, NC; brothers, Roger Gentry (Wanda) of Mountain City, TN and Bob Gentry (Betty) of Mountain City, TN; Grand dog, Baxter; sisters in law, Linda Gentry of Mountain City, TN and Shelby Gentry of Mountain City, TN; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services for Linda will be Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 1:00 p. m. in the Charles B Hux Chapel at Hux & Lipford Funeral Home with Greg Poe officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 - 1 pm prior to the funeral service. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum of Love.
