Linda Ann (Lombard) Belisle, 81 of Neosho, Mo. passed peacefully on Monday, September 4, 2023 at Freeman Neosho Hospital after a brief stay. Linda was born to H. C. and Ansy (Mahurin) Lombard on February 3, 1942 in Wheaton, Mo. She was the youngest of six children and the last to rejoin the family circle. Linda attended and graduated from Wheaton Schools in 1960. On March 16, 1968 in Joplin, Mo. she married NA (Andy) Belisle Jr and became Mom to 4 year old Coleen. He preceded her in death August of 2000. Linda had a variety of occupations over the years from cosmetology to property management and then retiring in 2014 as a records clerk for Ozark Center. She loved their many pets throughout the years and will be dearly missed by Princess Leia, the only kitty she ever loved or lived with. Besides her parents and husband she is preceded in death by all siblings; Louise Wilkerson, Idella Trick, Betty Shockley, Carrol Lombard, and Bob Lombard. Nephews - Richard Trick and Jim Shockley. Niece - Shirley Mason. And taking a big piece of her heart with him, Grandson Andy Tarpy in March of 2013. Survivors include daughter Coleen Tarpy of Neosho, Mo. Granddaughter Meghan (Clay) Sexson and Great Grandsons Rilynn & Maverick Sexson of Goodman, Mo. Bonus Grandson Dave (Kristen) Tarpy and great grandchildren Wyatt, Henry, Harry, Jane, Lucy, and George Tarpy of Olathe, Ks. Sister-in-Law Kay Lombard of Wheaton, Mo. Numerous Nieces, Nephews, and friends. We should all take comfort in the knowledge that she is at peace and reunited with those she loved. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at 2:00 P. M. at Wheaton United Methodist Church in Wheaton, under direction of McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton, Mo. Lindy Lombard will conduct the services. Linda and family would greatly appreciate donations in her memory to your local no kill animal shelter in lieu of flowers. William John Dunlap Jr. passed away at his home surrounded by his family on November 27, 2023, at the age of 58. He was born to William John Sr. and Mary Tice in Joplin, MO, on June 24, 1965. He leaves behind a legacy woven with cherished memories and abundant love. Throughout his professional journey, John dedicated himself to his work at the Joplin Globe Newspaper. Outside work, he found joy in the simple pleasures of life, he found enjoyment in camping and in music concerts, particularly Rock and Roll and Country. He was an avid supporter of sports, he cheered passionately for the Kansas City Chiefs, following the victories of Missouri Baseball Teams, and enjoyed watching WWE. Yet, above all, John cherished moments with his beloved family and grandchildren, especially his great-granddaughter, Zelda, whose presence brought immeasurable joy to his life. On August 27, 2005, he found enduring love and companionship in Debbie Lankford, who survives him. His memory lives on through his children, Amy Broach, Jason Broach and wife Virginia, and his cherished grandchildren: Kyle Broach and wife Ryleigh, Andrew Miller, Kamryn Ahumada and husband Carter, Kassiea Frederick and partner Jarid Girdner, along with his beloved great-granddaughter, Zelda Miller. John also leaves behind his siblings: James Lankford, Euleta Denefrio, Jerry Dunlap and wife Shelly, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of friends and family, all of whom held a special place in his heart. John is preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Bert Lankford. Elvin Wayne Hood, age 86, of Neosho, Missouri passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born March 11, 1937 in Blackwell, Oklahoma the son of Hugh and Stella (Evans) Hood. On February 24, 1956 in Blackwell, Oklahoma he was united in marriage to Shirley White, who preceded him in death. On August 16, 2017 in Liberty, Missouri he was united in ceremony to Royanne Darby, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Kevin Hood and his wife Vickie of Inola, Oklahoma and Rodney Hood and his wife Margaret of Wichita, Kansas; three daughters, Penny Iness and her husband Ken of Wagoner, Oklahoma, Stephanie Burks of Wichita, Kansas and Tammie Brobston of Green Forest, Arkansas; 18 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Also preceding him in death were his parents; one son, Rick Hood; two sons-in-law, Rick Plett and Jonathon Brobston; two brothers and two sisters. Elvin graduated from Mt. Vernon High School in Mt. Vernon, Missouri, later attending aviation maintenance school where he obtained a Federal Airframe and Powerplant License. He was employed by Learjet as a mechanic for several years from where he retired in 1998. After retiring he began woodworking and opened a shop at Silver Dollar City with his daughter, Penny. Elvin loved spending time with his family. He attended First Free Will Baptist Church in Neosho. Services will be held at 10:30 A. M. Saturday, December 2, 2023 at First Free Will Baptist Church in Neosho, Missouri, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Barry Reel will conduct the services. Elza "Rusty" Ross Richards, passed away on November 17, 2023. He lived his entire 88 years in rural Neosho. Born to Elza Thomas and Ethel Lee Hugoboom Richards, on August 27, 1935. He graduated from Neosho High School in 1954 and pursued his passion for football at the University of Arkansas for two years. On March 2, 1958, he was united in marriage to Carolyn Ann Kraft, his lifelong love and partner who preceded him in death on January 29, 2019. They enjoyed over 60 cherished years of marriage together. They built a beautiful family, raising three wonderful daughters, Paula, Lisa, and Recia. Rusty served his country in the US Army from June 1958 to May 1960, stationed in Munich, Germany, serving during the same time as Elvis Presley. He also played football in Berlin during his service. He continued serving in the National Guard, retiring as a Sergeant. Rusty worked for Goodyear Tire after he attended college, then was employed at Ozark Terminal. He worked at New Mac Electric Cooperative from 1966 until his retirement in 1996 as the operations manager. He was admired and very much respected within the community. Rusty was a faithful member of the Bible Holiness Assembly of God Church, and was actively involved, serving as Sunday school superintendent, Deacon, and Trustee. He found joy in farming, woodworking (especially crafting Martin houses), and solving crossword puzzles. He was an avid reader who enjoyed reading Louis L' Amour books. One of his greatest pleasures was tending to his garden and sharing its bounty with friends and family. Rusty is survived by his daughters, Paula Sumner and husband Alan, Lisa Hughes, and Recia Lowery, seven grandchildren; Charity (Bretly) Jett, Rachel (Jacob) Vaughn, Lauren (David) Favre, Ruth (Jeff) Schneider, Trey (Allison) Lowery, Rhoda Sumner, and Dakota Hughes, seven great-grandchildren; Braxton and Bowdrie Jett, Grayson and Toby Vaughn, Gadge Schneider, Charles Favre, Thea Lowery and three bundles of joy arriving soon. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Carol Richards, and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jack and Carolie Kraft, and many cherished relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife Carolyn, his parents, his sisters Marion Hopper, Mildred "Mickey" McCracken, Barbara "Bobbie" Richards, Ruthann Wilson, and his brothers Lee and Dale "Pete" Richards. The family will be receiving friends during a visitation on Tuesday, November 21, from 5:00-7:00 pm at Clark Funeral Home in Neosho. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 22, at 1:00 PM at the Bible Holiness Assembly of God Church in Neosho, Rev. Daniel Taylor officiating, followed by a graveside service at King Cemetery, where Dr. Timothy Laurito will officiate. Full military honors will be performed by the Missouri Funeral Honors Program. Kathy Lynn Wright, age 68 of Neosho, passed away suddenly at her home of natural causes. Kathy was born June 30, 1955, in Rushville, Indiana, to John C. Wright, Jr. and Elizabeth J. Wright. At the age of three, the family moved to Pineville, Missouri to be closer to family. Kathy attended school in Pineville and graduated from McDonald County High School in 1973. She continued her education at Crowder College and was accepted into the Joplin Police Academy and proudly served as an officer with the Joplin Police Department for ten years. Additionally, she worked at Newton County Abstract and Title, the Neosho License Bureau and for a number of years in the office of Newton County Circuit Clerk. Following her retirement from the County Clerk's office, she went to work at Central Dispatch until her passing. Kathy had a great love for animals, especially horses. She loved photographing horses for her friends and clients. She often served as the announcer at horse shows at the Newton County Fairgrounds. Kathy is survived by her mother, Elizabeth 'Betty' Wright of Neosho; her brother, Michael David Wright and wife, Glenda of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; three nieces, Hannah Trytsman and husband, Paul of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Hillary Wright of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Haley Mathis of Annandale, Virgina; a great nieces, Ruby Marie Trytsman; an aunt, Lea Orlick of Pineville, Missouri; cousin, Mary Katherine Smith and husband, Kendall of Paragould, Arkansas, a great nephew, Dr. Jacob Smith and wife, Kynzee of Fort Worth, Texas; her Newton County Courthouse family; her Central Dispatch Family and a host of friends. Memorial services will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023, at 3 pm at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Pastor Trey Laveroni will officiate. Milton Wray Edmonson, age 86, passed away on November 12, 2023. He was born on November 27, 1936, in Pharr, Texas, to Jesse Milton Edmonson and Esta Lee (Swindle) Edmonson. Wray graduated from Berryville High School in 1955 and proudly served in the National Guard from 1953 to 1966. Wray dedicated 20 years of his career as a service manager at Frye and Gray, where he eventually retired. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Neosho and also participated in Gideons International. Wray was known for his hobbies in woodcraft and woodworking, particularly crafting toys for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Additionally, he enjoyed pencil work. On January 1, 1956, Wray married Beatrice Collins, in Berryville, AR, they were high school sweethearts and she was the love of his life. She preceded him in death on August 22, 2020. He is survived by his three daughters: Susan Hagensicker and husband Larry of Bentonville, Arkansas; Deanna McClelland and husband Raymond of Neosho, MO; and Tammy Vanderpool and husband Randy of Arkansas City, KS. Wray is also survived by his grandchildren Jonathan Ely, Heather Cotter, Jennifer Jackson, Tara Vanderpool, Brandon Vanderpool, and his 12 great-grandchildren. His siblings, Ronald Edmonson and wife Linda of Oxford, NC, and Sandra Dix and husband John of Conroe, TX, and sisters-in-law Fredia Edmonson of Scranton, AR, and Shirly Hunt of Springdale AR. He also leaves behind his beloved four-legged companion "Tipper". In Addition to his wife, Wray is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Kenneth Neil Edmonson. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 16, 2023, from 4:00-5:30 PM at Clark Funeral Home in Neosho, Missouri.
