Lily Martinez, 67, of Grand Prairie, TX, passed away on September 7, 2023, with her family by her side. Lily was born on October 1, 1955 in Lubbock, TX to the late Francis and Florentino Hernandez. Lily was the second eldest of 5 children, and proceeded in death by her bother Tino Hernandez and sister Tonie Ayala. Lily was a dedicated mother and especially loved her role as grandmother. She had the most warm and outgoing personality and always made everyone around her laugh. She had a big heart and larger than life personality that will be missed by all that knew her. Lily is survived by her sons Guy Hernandez, and Andrew Martinez and their father Able Martinez; 3 beautiful grandchildren, Alex, Abigail, and Aiden Martinez; daughter-in-law Ana Sanchez; sisters, Irene Griade and Olga Hernandez. She had 8 nephews and nieces and 14 great-nephews and nieces. Lily was a friend to all and will be missed. Mass for Lily will be 2:30 P. M. , Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Jacob Powell officiating. Interment will follow in Terrace Cemetery under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home. My mom went through life saying, "I was Lynn's wife, Shonna's mom, Tony's sister, John's daughter, Jo's daughter, the grandchildren's and great grandchildren's Nana. " Now, I would like to tell you a little more about Sharon and her life prior to joining her husband, Lynn, in heaven on November 26, 2023. Sharon Lee Neenan Inman was born on June 30, 1947 in Baltimore, Maryland to John and Jo Ellan (Mingilino) Neenan. Sharon was blessed with one brother, Tony Neenan (with daughter Erin, grandson Aidan). Sharon lived in Maryland until she was 16 years old. At that time, she moved to Grand Prairie, Texas. She graduated with the Class of 1965 from Grand Prairie High School. During that time, she met the love of her life, (Edward) Lynn Inman. Sharon and Lynn were married in 1965 and were together until Lynn's death in 2014. During their 49 years of marriage, they had one daughter, Shonna. Shonna met and married Wayland Stringer and had two children, Jessica and Laura. Sharon was a very proud Nana of Jessica (with Dominick) and Laura (with Bret) and to her six great grandchildren. Sharon was the proud owner of several beloved dogs including Einstein, Max, Coco and Bella. Sharon was very logical in her thought processes, and very protective of those things and people that she cherished and loved. Sharon worked very hard to build a career in the insurance industry to provide a better life for her family. Sharon was known for her cooking and cake decorating, which they turned into a part-time wedding catering business with Lynn and their good friends Jim and Ann Moon. Sharon would also make every experience a learning opportunity. Sharon found much joy in helping others and was always quick to give a hand. Sharon served in many roles through her life, for churches (i. e. Fairview Baptist Church and South Park Baptist Church) and community organizations like Christian Women's Job Corps-Grand Prairie. Sharon also loved to sing and participated in many choirs and as well enjoyed southern gospel music. Sharon had many great friends, and some of her greatest joys were spent around the swimming pool making memories. Sharon loved playing games (even accusing her son-in-law for cheating by being too logical in a Star Trek: The Next Generation Party they hosted, where he was playing the role of Data). Sharon would create handmade ceramics, expressed her passion in arts and crafts, discussing and displaying her love for depression glass, or sharing her collection of jewelry. She loved fiercely and anyone who knew her knew that next to her love for God, her family was her number-one priority. It was a joy and honor to be Sharon's daughter. Joseph (Joe) M. Crumpton III, age 83, of Grand Prairie, Texas passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023. Joe will always be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, son, friend and colleague to all that knew and cared for him. Joe will truly be missed by all. Joe was born August 16, 1940 in Winfield, Kansas to Joseph Martin Crumpton II and Ellen White Crumpton, brother to Richard and Cindy. He married Ellen (Sue) Smith December 21, 1963 in Antlers, Oklahoma. Joe and Sue moved to Huntsville, Alabama where their daughter Christi was born and then settled in Grand Prairie where their son Bradley was born. Joe had a long and fulfilling career in computer technology and management. Joe was unfailingly kind and made friends wherever he went. He enjoyed RV travel, fishing, spending time with his closest friends and family, and sports of all kinds. Joe played in two bridge groups up until he moved to Colorado in May of this year. Joe is survived by his son, Bradley, daughter in law, Andrea, and grandson Benjamin of Grand Junction, CO, sister Cindy and brother in law Herb of Middleburg, FL, and sister in law Pat of Wichita, KS, along with a host of loving family members. Sarah Beth Hollingshead left this world to join her Savior on Thursday, November 23, 2023, following an extended illness. Sarah Beth Hunley was born January 2, 1933 in East Texas. She graduated from Bullard High School in 1950. She met Alfred Wayne Hollingshead that summer and they were married on September 16, 1950, just 10 weeks after they met. It was truly a match made in heaven. After living in West Texas for a brief time, they moved to Grand Prairie, TX, where they raised their two sons, Jerry and TD. They were very involved in their church, community and school activities. Sarah was a Den Mother and a Gopher Mother for years. She carried the boys and all their friends to football, basketball and baseball games almost daily. She was truly a multi-talented woman. Sarah was famous for her beautifully decorated cakes, which she shared with friends and family for every occasion. She was an expert seamstress, making costumes, formals and most importantly, Heather's wedding gown. Her cooking was known far and wide, especially fried chicken and chicken fried steak. Sarah entered the workforce in 1969 with Dahlstrom Construction. She moved to Darr Construction in 1980 as an accounts receivable clerk and retired in 1994 as supervisor of that department. Sarah was known as MaMa to almost everyone she met. She welcomed everyone into her home and treated them like family. She loved to have fun--fishing, camping, traveling, playing games, watching Cowboy football and Ranger baseball, and visiting with friends and family. She just knew how to enjoy life. Preceding her in death are her beloved husband of 61 years, Alfred Hollingshead; her parents, Golden and Lily Hunley; three brothers, Bill, Harold and LG Hunley; brother-in-law, Vernon Hollingshead; and great-grandson, Joshua Kyle Hollingshead. Sarah is survived by her son, Jerry Wayne and wife Jeannie; her son, Terry Don (TD) and wife Shelley; grandchildren, Kyle Hollingshead and wife, Annie, and Heather Moreno and husband, Ronnie, Justin Hollingshead and wife, Christy; and her great-grandson, Quinlan Boyd Hollingshead; along with nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as a large extended family of friends. Visitation will be at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home, 2951 S. Belt Line Road, Grand Prairie, TX from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, November 29. Service will be held at Inglewood Baptist Church, 1901 S Carrier Pkwy, Grand Prairie, TX, at 10 AM, Thursday, November 30, with burial immediately following at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Bereavement Committee or the Keen-agers of Inglewood Baptist Church.
