Obituary of Lily Crooks In Memory of Lily Victorio Crooks "Mama" May 2, 1935 - February 7, 2019 It is with great sadness that the family of Lily Victorio Crooks announce her passing on February 7, 2019. Lily is survived by her daughters Susan, Grace and Beth, son-in-law Archie, grandchildren Wilbert, Ian and wife Beth, Patrick and wife Kimberly, Sasha, Kevin and wife Yoli, Colin, Jessica, Lia, Erica, great-grandchildren Clarissa Jane, James, Agatha, Casey, JC, Khylle, Jireh, Hannah, Jaimey, Qino, Luke, Jasmine, Isla and Charlotte, as well as her siblings Alice, Ricardo Jr., Nory and Jean. She was preceded in death by her first husband Ricardo Barredo Sr., second husband Paul Crooks, son Ricardo Jr., and grandsons Gino and Alec. Lily was born in Caloocan City, Philippines to Ricardo Sr. and Felicidad Victorio. She married her first love, Ricardo Barredo Sr., whom she had four children with. She migrated to the US in 1980 where she met and married Paul Crooks. She worked for over 20 years at Honeywell. After she retired, she devoted her time helping raise her grandson Colin. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all - always putting others' needs before her own. She loved working in the yard, tending to her plants and fruit trees. She served as a Communion Minister for the sick and homebound and volunteered with Meals and Wheels delivering meals to homebound seniors when she was still able. She loved watching musicals, cooking shows, law, detective and police dramas on TV. She watched Jeopardy and competed against the contestants on TV everyday right from her own bedroom. She was strongly devoted to her faith until the very end. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am on Wednesday, February 20, at St. Raymond Catholic Church, 11555 Shannon Avenue, Dublin, CA 94568. Her family plans to bring her home where her ashes will be laid to rest next to her grandson, Gino, at Holy Cross Memorial Park in Quezon City, Philippines. "Mama" Lily will forever be in our hearts.
