"Lillian Winn Chastain Worley age 94 of Kennesaw, Georgia was born October 2, 1928 and went to be with her Lord and savior on May 8, 2023. A Funeral Service will be held in her honor on Thursday, May 11, 2023, 1:00 pm at Mayes Ward Dobbins Marietta Chapel. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM on Wednesday May 10, 2023, at Mayes Ward Dobbins Marietta. Lillian was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, John Williams Worley, Sr. , her parents Howard Felton Chastain, Sr. and Alfred Virginia Chastain, brother Howard Felton Chastain Jr. , sisters Clara Chastain Champion, Evelyn Chastain Pounds, Linda Chastain Arnett, grandson Ralph Eric Harlan, Jr. , great granddaughter Lillian Victoria Dice. Mrs. Worley is survived by her children: Judy Worley Crumbley, John W. Worley, Jr. (Lynn), Teresa Worley Harlan, sister: Annie Frances Bankston, grandchildren: Tim Worley (Tammie), Keith Worley, Elizabeth Crumbley Holland, Brent Harlan (Melissa), William Crumbley (Amy), Kimberly Harlan Dice, Mary Harlan Wallace (Cole), great grandchildren: Darian Worley Cates (Chase), TJ Worley, Sovianna Roberts, Kamden Ford, Jaxon Dice, Braeley Wallace, Skylee Wallace, Logan Crumbley, Beaux Dice, Shalynn Crumbley, Coley Wallace, Lexington Dice, Adelaide Harlan, Miley Wallace, Eric and Lucas Harlan, and numerous nieces and nephews. Lillian attended Acworth High where she played basketball and after graduation played two years professionally for the Atlanta Tomboys team. Lillian was a wonderful wife, mother and Memaw, her family was everything to her. She was a very generous woman not only with her giving but also with her time. She was a Charter member of the Cobb EMC Women Task Force. She loved crocheting and giving her beautiful work to family and friends. One of her most prized works was a large version of the Lords Supper which she donated to her church and it is proudly displayed in their foyer. In her younger days, she was a member of the Home Demonstration Club. She showed her talent as a seamstress entering a dress in the women's dress review and two dresses in the children's dress review winning two first places and a third place in Cobb County. Lillian is a long time Member of Noonday Baptist Church. She and her husband worked Mission trips to build churches. After her husband retired, they traveled extensively all thru the United States and abroad. "
