Lillian Elizabeth Dunlap Jeffcoat, 102, passed away into the arms of our loving Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday April 19, 2023. She was born in Winnsboro, SC on September 9, 1920, to the late Henry and Viola Hattie Dunlap. She was a graduate of Columbia High School. On October 24, 1941, she married the love of her life, Knowlton Earl Jeffcoat Sr. The union was blessed with three children, Knowlton Earl Jeffcoat Jr. , Patricia Ann Jeffcoat Fulmer, and Alice Jeffcoat Livingston. She devoted her life to her family. She was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church West Columbia which is now known as River District Church. As a devoted Christian, who loved God, she served in many roles in the church. Our family is so thankful for her teaching us about Jesus and putting us on a beautiful Christian path of life at an early age. She loved sending cards and cooking meals to take to friends. Her favorite TV shows were Food Network and the vet, Dr. Pol. She taught her daughters to sew and insisted they take piano lessons as she had always wanted to play. She is survived by her daughter Alice (John) Livingston of West Columbia; son, Knowlton Earl Jeffcoat, Jr. ; favorite nephew, Coel Dunlap (Demaris), as well as six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren, all of whom will miss their GG greatly. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Knowlton Earl Jeffcoat, Sr. ; her daughter, Patricia Ann Jeffcoat Fulmer, and her brothers William Dunlap, Rossor B. Dunlap, The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice for the wonderful care she received. They would also like to thank Joanne Lamb, a neighbor, who gave exceptional care to mom outside of Hospice. She is truly part of the family and Mother deeply loved her. Special thanks to her lifetime physician Dr. Paul Pante and his staff whom she cherished. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm on Friday, April 28, 2023 at Springdale Baptist Church, 347 Wattling Road, West Columbia, SC 29170. Visitation and viewing will be 1 hour prior to the service from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel, is assisting the family.
