Lewis “Art” Roniger, 86, of Eastlake, passed away June 12, 2022 at home, surrounded by his family. He was born September 13, 1935 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Gilbert Dunn and Dorothy Demaline. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, where he served along with his brother Gil in the Armored Calvary Division. He worked as a tool and die machinist at Addressograph-Multigraph in Euclid for 29 years, and at Bethandale Steel in Mentor for 14 more years. In his free time, Art could often be found on the area softball diamonds or fixing cars in his garage for his family and friends. When he reached his retirement years, he was either making wood projects or attending classic car shows. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Lela-Jean Roniger (nee: Hare); children, Charmain Roniger, Laura (Matt) Hasen, Dorothy (Dave) Robinson and Dan (April) Roniger; grandchildren, Jay (Leslie) Knox, Colleen Roniger and Faith Hasen; great-grandchildren, Carter, Grace, Rory and Avery; siblings, Ruth Ann Kaiser and. . .
