He loved batman, candy, earthworms, mud, trucks, bubbles and to dance.      He is preceded in death by his great-grandmother Darlene Sizemore.      Left behind to mourn his passing, his mother Alexis Flores, two sisters Leela, Ivy, one brother Alexander, grandparents Jerry and Crystal Blair of White Pine, Tennessee, great-grandparents Darrell and Donna Raleigh of Cumberland, Kentucky, two aunts Mercedes and husband Tyler, Samantha, one uncle Jerry Jr., great aunt Tonya Conner and husband Chris , two great uncle John Blair and wife Monica, Kenneth Blair and wife Vaneza. Ina Gail Carnes, 72 of Flat Lick, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024, at the Barbourville ARH. She was born in Pineville on July 9, 1951, a daughter of the late Arson and Mary King Warren. Ina had been a homemaker.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Jimmy Dale Carnes and Johnny Ray Carnes; and siblings, Harty Warren, Carty Booster Warren, Arson Warren, Carl Warren, Harold Warren, Ritha Cordia Williamson, and Linda Kay Fraizer.Ina is survived by her son, Doyle Carnes, Jr.; four grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; significant other, Floyd Brock; and siblings, Carson Warren, Sharl Warren, Sam Warren, and Eula Dean Woolum; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.Graveside services will be at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at the Warren Cemetery on White Mountain.Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville is honored to serve the Carnes Family. Mrs. Coleen Carnes Bales, 80, of Barbourville, went home to be with the Lord Thursday morning, January 25, 2024 as she was surrounded by her loving husband and family.Coleen was born September 6, 1943 and was the first child of McCoy and Doxie Williamson Carnes. She graduated from Knox Central High School in 1962. She left her home place in Walker to pursue employment in Indiana, where she met the love of her life, David Bales. In 1972, she gave birth to a precious son, Brian Bales.Coleen was a wonderful wife to her husband of 53 years and she was an amazing mother and homemaker. She was a generous and kind sister to her seven sisters and three brothers and was always looking out for her parents and siblings.She enjoyed traveling, new adventures, sister trips and making lasting memories with her family. Coleen was a member of the New Palestine Christian Church in Indiana and enjoyed participating in many events and activities. Upon returning to live in Barbourville in 2014, she enjoyed attending the East Barbourville Baptist Church.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her precious son, Brian Bales; sisters-in-law, Betty Carnes and Patty Sutton; brother-in-law, Richard Bales and parents-in-law, Harold and Lonetta Bales.Survivors include her loving husband, David Bales of Barbourville; siblings, McCoy Carnes Jr. and wife, Madge, of Marion, IN, Mary Carnes Mills of Lakeland, FL, Rex Carnes and wife, Judy, of Cannon, Jackie Abner and husband, Bobby, of Heidrick, Phillip Carnes and wife, Vickie, of Cannon, Janice Floyd and husband, Jim, of Corbin, Madeline Mays and husband, Jimmy, of Bimble, Diane Carnes of Destin, FL, Linda Hughley and husband, Randy, of Santa Rosa Beach, FL, and Donna Cain and husband, Billy, of Barbourville; a host of nieces and nephews; among other loved ones and dear friends who will miss her dearly.Her funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Sunday, January 28 at 3 P.M. with Rev. She was born on December 7, 1933 in Knox County the daughter of Mitchell Mills and Mary (Newman) Townsley and was the widow of Denver Smith. Vivian was a member of the Christian Life Fellowship.       Those left behind to mourn her passing, her three children, James Patrick Smith, Lisa Ann Callebs and Gina Bennett, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.       Funeral services for Vivian will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday at 12:30. Diane was a member of Northside Baptist Church where she enjoyed attending and fellowshipping with her church family. Her passion was her grandchildren because she absolutely loved being a mamaw and spending time with her family. Left to cherish her memory are her sons Gerald (Cassie) Branham and Josh (Caroline) Branham, daughter Amanda (Robert) Carson, brothers Randy (Joyce) Martin and Philip (Alicia) Martin, grandchildren Kennedi Branham, Brooks Branham and Bailey Branham, and a host of nieces and other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly. She was the daughter of the late John Thomas and Lela Mae Prichard Farmer born on November 6, 1940 in Barbourville. Billie was a 1959 graduate of Knox Central High School, a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She loved to laugh and enjoyed watching hummingbirds. In earlier years, she enjoyed cooking especially fried chicken which was her specialty, and sewing. On May 8, 1959, she united in marriage with James Donald Franklin Sr., who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by six brothers and five sisters. Survivors include her loving children, James D. Franklin Jr., Ronald Douglas Franklin and wife, Shelly, and Lisa Franklin Clark and husband, Troy; a sister, Wilma Garrison and husband, Matt; cherished grandchildren, Tyler Shields and wife, Kaitlyn, Andrew Franklin and wife, Rachel, Jared Franklin and wife, Carrie Beth, Megan Holly and husband, Michael, and Kristen Cox and husband, Drew; great grandchildren, Easton and Audrey Shields, Charlie and June Franklin and Nora and Owen Holly; among other loved ones and dear friends.         Brenda Sue (Gray) Doolin, 75, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Monday, Dec. 25, 2023.         Brenda was born on July 17, 1948, at her grandmother's home in Prichard Branch, KY.  She was the second of nine children of Nelson and Mabel (Elliott) Gray.          Brenda was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.  She loved her family and was happiest when they were near.         Brenda is survived by her loving husband, Gary Doolin; her daughter, Debora (William) Lloyd; her son Robert (Kathy) Myers; her stepson, Gary Wayne (Rebecca) Doolin, II; her brother, Nelson (Ramona) Gray; her brother, Harold Gene (Charon) Gray; her brother, Charles (Debbie) Gray; her sister, Mary Ella (Doug) Shields; her sister, Lisa (Eric) Lauterwasser; her brother, Gary (Lisa) Gray; her grandchildren, Jacob, Sarah and Joshua Myers; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.         Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Nelson & Mabel (Elliott) Gray; her brother, Jerry Gray; her sister and brother-in-law, Patricia (Gray) & William Noe; her sister-in-law, Peggy (DeRossett) Gray; her ex-husband, Terry Myers, and her husband, Robert D.
