Leslie Crist Obituary

Leslie W. Crist, 77, of Eagleville, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2023, at Jefferson Einstein Montgomery Hospital in East Norriton. He was the beloved husband of Nancy (Hostetter) Crist to whom he was married for over 54 years. Born February 22, 1946, in Norristown he was the son of the late Walter and Anna (Wistler) Crist. He was a graduate of Methacton High School Class of 1964, and attended the Philadelphia Wireless Technical Institute. After high school and tech school he served his country in the United States Army. Mr. Crist worked at numerous radio and television stations before retiring from NBC 10. He was a very active member at Calvary Baptist Church in Lansdale. Had a passion for southern gospel music, and loved Jesus Christ. Most of all he loved spending time with his loving and devoted wife, children, and grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Bonnie Crist of Collegeville, and Robin Smith and her husband, Michael, of Center Valley; and his four grandchildren, Michael, Victoria, Theodore, and Matthew. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at 11 AM, on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Calvary Baptist Church, 1380 Valley Forge Rd. Lansdale, PA 19446, where the family will greet guests from 10-11 AM. Burial was at Mingo Cemetery in Royersford.
