Dean Tedder Cribb, 81, went to her eternal home of Sunday, February 25, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Sparrow Swamp Baptist Church, Timmonsville. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. the family will speak to those attending after the service at the cemetery. Dean was born in Florence County, the daughter of the late LaRue and Margaret Saverance Tedder. Dean graduated from Bonaire High School in 1960, where she was named "Miss Betty Crocker Homemaker of Tomorrow." Dean was a talented piano player who shared her love of Jesus through music. She was a faithful servant who spent her life worshiping her Savior. Dean had a special gift when it came to caring for children. She opened her heart and home to daycare children for many years, loving them as if they were her own. She served at times as the pianist at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home. Dean was married to the late Eddie Cribb. Surviving are her brother, Craig (Beverly) Tedder; grandchildren, Deanna (Jesse) Parrott, Kimberly Hardy and Caroline Hardy; great-granddaughter, Wren Hardyl son-in-law, Chip Hardy; sisters-in-law, Diane Tedder, Helene Tedder and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by two daughters, Lisa Cribb, Julie Hardy, brothers, Vernie Tedder and Rudy Tedder. Mr. Kennedy was born in Florence County, a son of Elaine Byrd Kennedy and the late Pierce Whitley Kennedy. He worked in the computer department at McLeod Hospital for twenty-one years and was a member of Abundant Life Church. Surviving are his mother and step-father, Elaine Byrd Fulgham and Alton Fulgham; his sons, Kyle Kennedy of Turbeville and Sam Kennedy of Florence; and daughter, Morgan Kennedy of Florence. Herbert Brigman, Jr. was on born September 7, 1942, the oldest son of Herbert Brigman, Sr. and Everlina Phillips-Brigman in Florence, SC.   He departed this life on February 21, 2024.Herbert was educated in the Florence county public schools.  As a young lad, Herbert began his employment with Miller’s Funeral Home and later Ideal Funeral Parlor, Florence, SC. He continued working at Ideal until his retirement.Bro. Brigman was a faithful member of Mt. Calvary Apostolic Church. He gave his life to Christ and was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Bro. Brigman loved God, his church and God’s people. This was exemplified by the cheerful and humble service he rendered to God and to others for many years. Bro. Brigman was a member of the usher board and served passionately for over 20 years. When his health began to decline, because of his devotion to God and dedication to the work of the Lord, he would still press to get to church. Bro. Brigman will be greatly missed by all who knew him.Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Gloria Jean Felder-Brigman of the home; three daughters,  Everlina Brigman of Bakersville, California, Betty Brigman, of Houston, Texas and Sharon Keyes-Brigman of Baltimore, Maryland; two grandsons, Alphonso Felder and Marcus Felder, both of Florence SC; three great-grands, Jada of Conway, SC, Maileek of Florence, SC, Cameron of Columbia, SC; one brother, Joseph(Olivia) Brigman of Schertz, Texas; one sister, Shirley Page of Florence, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mr. Stephenson was born the son of the late Edna Mottern Stephenson and James Philip Stephenson, Sr. He was the Executive Vice-President of Stephenson Finance. Mr. Stephenson loved to read and play bridge. He was an active member of Elim Bible Church where he served as Treasurer. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by step-son, Scott Munn, and by his brother, Bobby Stephenson. Surviving are his wife, Diane Winstead Stephenson; son, Philip (Cathy) Stephenson, III of Florence, SC; step-son, Brad (Dawn) Munn of New Zion, SC; daughters, Laura Stephenson and Susan Stephenson, both of Charleston, SC; seven grandchildren, Brittany Jones, Austin Stephenson, Parker Stephenson, Tanner Munn, Mitchell Munn, Carson Munn and Grace Munn; two great-grandchildren, Fletcher Floyd and Tommy Floyd; and sister, Kaki Mills of Charleston, SC. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM – 11:00 on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
