Lereves Winston (Cash) 71, was born December 22, 1950, in Houston Texas to Norman Winston Jr. and Betty Winston. Lereves and his sister Mary Alice were adopted by their Great Aunt and Uncle, Victor, and Laura Barnett when Lereves was 3 weeks old, his sister Mary Alice was 2 years old. They preceded him in death. Lereves attended J. P. Starks Elementary School. He attended James Madison High School where he was active on the football team, Lereves was a Master electrician by trade. As a child and teenager Lereves attended Salem Baptist Church where he was baptized. Lereves Winston was involved in Alcohol Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous traveling across the country as the Keynote Speaker at Yearly conventions, he was also actively involved in Oxford House after care where he helped many to overcome their addictions as well as fight for his own sobriety, opening after care house for men and women in need of help starting over. Mr. Winston has helped countless people on his lifetime, because of his kind heart and giving spirit he was an inspiration and loved by so many. Lereves Winston leaves to mourn his passing: his daughter, Kimberly Massey of Las Vegas Nevada; sister, Mary Alice Rufus (Jesse) of Dallas TX; three granddaughters, Fallon Green of Forney TX, Kamisha Mays of Dallas, Tekiesha Mays of Dallas TX; one grandson, Michael Mays of Dallas TX; three great grandchildren, Derriona and Derrick Thomas, Akiya Alley; nephew, Johnny Winston Sr. ; niece, Sharon Winston; great nephew, Johnny Winston Jr. ; great niece, Symone Jimmerson; great great niece, Amaree Nangle and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
