"Leo Herrera, 82, a lifetime residence of Mercedes, Texas went to be with our Lord April 23, 2023. Born to Ricardo and Virginia Herrera, August 17, 1940. Leo is survived by his loving family, his wife: Cristina Hererra, 6 children: Ricky Herrera, Michelle Herrera, Anette Herrera, Jorge Herrera, Luis Herrera, and Leah Herrera, brothers and sisters: Mario Herrera, Elvira Cavazos, Amelia Sanchez, and Rosita (Camilo) Martinez, 5 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren. Visitation for Leo Herrera will be Wednesday April 26, 2023, from 1:00 P. M. to 8:00 P. M with a Christian service at 7:00 P. M. No internment will follow. All services are under the direction and care of Rudy Garza Funeral Home of Mercedes, Texas. "
