Lenore Eissfeldt Obituary

Lenore Joyce Eissfeldt was born in Waukegan, IL. on February 1, 1943. She attended Christ Lutheran grade school through eighth grade in Peoria, IL. and was a graduate of Manuel Training High School in Peoria. She is survived by three siblings: Raymond Skip Eissfeldt of Champaign, IL. Ted Eissfeldt of Naples, FL. and Judy Murphy of Lindsborg, KS. Lenore enjoyed traveling and photography. She traveled to North Carolina, Hawaii and the Worlds Fair in New York City in 1963. One of her favorite places to take photos was at Allerton Park in IL. She retired after 20 yrs of employment from the University of Illinois where she worked in their food service department. The last three years of her life were spent at CU Nursing Home in Savoy, IL. where she enjoyed interacting with many people especially her good friend Connie. Cremation rites have been accorded at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Champaign, IL. 61820.
