Lawrence Franklyn Reinhart , 86, of The Villages FL passed away on September 7th, 2023 in Cornerstone Hospice, Lady Lake FL. Larry was born in Quakertown PA to Franklin Thomas Reinhart and Miriam Sloyer Reinhart on April 19, 1937. He graduated from Franklin & Marshall College & Trenton State University. He married Bette Louise Hartl on April 29, 1961 in Perkasie PA. He worked as a Special Ed Teacher for Pennridge School District 37 years. He enjoyed boating, skiing, biking, golfing and many other sports. He especially enjoyed music and sitting in with The Caribbean Chillers to play his Bongo Drums (Bongo Larry) as well as crafts, especially making Moravian stars. He is preceded in death by his parents, his Sister Patricia Hockman & his son-in-law Timothy Albertson. Larry is survived by his wife Bette; Daughter Wendy Albertson of The Villages FL; Son Kerry Reinhart & his wife Renee of Stratford, Ontario, Canada; brother Richard Stumb & wife Barbara of AL; sister Rebecca Russo of CA, Granddaughter Emily Albertson of CO; Grandson Benjamin Albertson of CO. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 30 at 1:00 p. m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 15699 SE 80th Ave, Summerfield FL 34491 with Pastor Dave Connell. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Cornerstone Hospice or Christ Lutheran Church.

Marvin Eugene (Gene) Sexton, Sr. , passed away on November 25, 2023. He was born in Bluestone, West Virginia to Lilly and Loyd Sexton on March 20, 1930. He graduated from Bramwell High School in 1947. He left West Virginia in 1947 and settled in the Tidewater area of Virginia in Hampton, Virginia. He was employed by the C&O Railroad and served a four-year apprenticeship. In December 1948, he joined the Virginia National Guard. In August 1950, his unit was activated for the Korean War. After he was released from active duty, he returned to the C&O Railroad and completed his four-year apprenticeship. He left the C&O Railroad to work fulltime with the Virginia National Guard. In 1961 he left the Virginia National Guard. He was employed with the Newport News Shipbuilding & Dry Dock Company. He continued to serve his country by enlisting in the Army Reserves. He served in the Army Reserves until mandatory retirement at age 60. He retired from the Newport News Shipbuilding & Dry Dock Company in 1991. He lived in Hampton Virginia until 1996 when he and his wife Joyce moved to The Villages, Florida. He was preceded in death by his wife Joyce of 62 years along with his oldest daughter Nancy Sexton. He is survived by her children Billy Lee Bollinger and Dawn Cesaretti, her husband Brian, daughter Brenda Sexton and her son's Westin Neal, his partner Gundega, Brandon Neal, his wife Danielle, son Marvin (Bo) Sexton, Jr. , his wife Christine and children Curtis Sexton, Nicole Davis, her husband Aaron and Michael Velardi, his wife Isela and daughter Mary Sexton Sands, her husband Gregg and children Justin Trainum, his wife Martyna, Stephanie Locke, her husband Branden, Jeremiah Sands and Amel Sands. He had ten great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by his companion, Ann Bloete of The Villages. He was a member of Monitor Lodge #197 AFAM. He was raised in April 1964 to the degree of Master Mason, and he was a 32nd degree Mason. He was a member of the Tall Cedars of Lebanon of North America. He served in numerous offices and in 1978 was elected by the General Membership of North America to service on the Board of Directors. He was a past member of the Royal Arch Chapter #80, past member of the Scottish of Free Masonry, past member of the Colonial Chapter #40 of the Eastern Star. He was very active in numerous sports, hunting, fishing, boating, water skiing, golf and softball. Both his and his wife's ashes will be taken to Virginia by family and spread in the Chesapeake Bay at their favorite fishing spot. Jack L. Bigford passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 in The Villages, Florida, after a brief illness. Jack was born in Bay City, Michigan on August 4, 1936 to Leslie and Lillian (Kirby) Bigford. After graduating from T. L. Handy High School in Bay City, Mighigan in 1956, he joined the US Navy and served 4 years of active duty and 4 years of reserve duty. After leaving the Navy he worked for DeFoe Ship Building then worked at AT&T for 26 years until retirement in 1996. He was a life member of the Bay City Elks Club #88 in Bay City, Michigan. He is survived by his wife, Karen, daughter Anne Sullivan (Al Gerken), brother Lon Rule (Jackie), brother Joe Rule (Barb), sister Marjorie Struble, son-in-law Robert VanGuilder grandchildren, Taylor (John) Hoffman, Shelby Sullivan, Samantha Gerken and great granddaughter, Rowan Hoffman and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Leslie Bigford and Lillian Kirby, brother Alan Bigford, grandson Kody VanGuilder, sister Linda Bellottie, sister Patricia Moreau and daughter Jacquelyn VanGuilder, His passion in life was golfing, his children, grand children and was thrilled to welcome his first great granddaughter, Rowan. He loved helping people with their computers. He and Karen moved to The Villages, Florida in 1999 and made friends wherever he went. He was involved with his church, . Theresa Marie Skinner, 79, of The Villages, Florida passed away on November 28th at The Villages Hospital after a lengthy battle with MDS. Terri was born on October 27, 1944, in Waterbury, Connecticut to Willis and Ethel Williams and grew up in Oxford, Connecticut. Terri worked as an office manager in the International Spares and Provisions department of Sikorsky aircraft and retired after more than 30 years. After a long courtship and engagement which started in 1977, Terri married her husband, Douglas Skinner, in June of 1995 where they lived in Southbury, Connecticut. After retiring in 1995, Terri and Douglas made their home in Seneca, South Carolina for seven years enjoying their life on Lake Keowee and attending many of the sports events at Clemson University. Terri and Doug moved to The Villages in October of 2003 to enjoy the active lifestyle offered in this wonderful community. Terri was a natural athlete and fierce competitor who enjoyed participating in many sports during her lifetime. She was member of many sports teams in her early life, winning multiple awards in Softball and Volleyball throughout the years. Terri was the tournament MVP and winning pitcher in a Industrial League National Championship during her working years. While living in South Carolina she learned to love golf and enjoyed the ladies leagues and routinely beating her husband. After moving to The Villages, Terri remained active in golf, volleyball, and softball. She played with The Villages Vixens, a competitive team which played in multiple national tournaments. The highlight of her time with The Vixens was in 2010 when her team won the SPA Spring Nationals and she was again recognized as the Tournament MVP. Terri played Volleyball with mutiple Villages teams in The Senior Olympics and was a member of a number of winning teams at the state level. Terri often commented that her friends in The Villages were like a second family to her. She loved attending all of the various socials and felt very fortunate to live in the Royal Oak section of Springdale where she made many friends. Terri is survived by her husband, Douglas Skinner, her Sons Robert and Brian, and Step Daughters Tracy and Christina. She was a proud Grandmother to Caitlin Kummer, Christian Kummer, Mackenzie Kummer, and Graceanne Kummer as well as David DiCosimo, Branden DiCosimo, Kyle Malinowski, Elena Malinowski and Luke DiCosimo (Great-Grandson) who are from Douglas's previous marriage. Terri also loved her extended family of Daughter-in-Laws AnnMarie Kummer, Laurie Kummer, and Cathie Opsahl. Terri will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but most especially by her extended family here in The Villages. Arrangements have been made for an intimate Family only funeral at Bushnell National Cemetery on December 11th. In addition, a celebration of Life will be held here in The Villages in the spring of next year. Jo Neece Ward, 86, of The Villages, Florida, passed away on November 29, 2023 at Chatham Glen Healthcare after a lengthy battle with dementia and other health challenges. Jo was born on January 22, 1937, in Nashville, Arkansas to Alvie and Jane Neece, and grew up in Dallas, Texas. She married the love of her life Bobby Ward in 1953. While Bobby served in the Air Force, they lived in Texas and then Alaska, where Jo worked as a press correspondent. Jo and Bobby then made their home in Fargo, North Dakota, where Jo worked as an Executive Secretary until their daughter Courtney was born in 1968. Jo was an avid volunteer, working to support public television in the early 1970s, serving as a guardian ad litem to represent children in the court system, and working with Meals on Wheels. She also enjoyed golf and spending time with close friends. After Bobby's death in 1991, Jo moved to Minneapolis and then to The Villages, Florida, where she lived for more than 25 years. In The Villages, she formed many close relationships and enjoyed golf, travel and leading The Villages Drumming Circle. Jo is survived by her daughter Courtney (Kevin) Ward-Reichard, granddaughters Rachel and Sarah Reichard, sister Jeanne (Ronny) Blakely and many extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband Bobby. Jo will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She will be interred in Fargo, North Dakota in a private family service. Richard Senator, 71 of The Villages, FL, passed away at his home on November 23, 2023, surrounded by family members. He was born in Gloversville, NY to Samuel and May Senator and grew up in Rochester, NY. He graduated from Monroe High School then completed his education at Radio/Broadcasting Technical College in Boston, MA. . He was married for a period of 10 years. He worked for the New York State Psychiatric Facility in Rochester as a Patient Care Supervisor and also worked 22 years for Eastman Kodak as a Film Technician. He then worked for Gates/Chili School District driving School bus for 4 years prior to officially retiring. He is survived by his Life partner, Terri Dailey, Children Erin May of Cary, NC, Son Brian Senator (Sara) of Gates, NY, Brother, Gary (Sandi) Senator of The Villages, FL, Grandchildren Nathan, Vivian, Kellan and Mattylynn and many cousins, dear friends and neighbors. He is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and May Senator. Richard was an accomplished musician and singer for almost 60 years, playing drums in a number of bands during his lifetime. His love for The Beatles music led him to join the Beatlemaniacs Club in The Villages where he happily entertained many, playing drums and singing for the last 9 years. He was loved and respected by many musicians and his passion for music was well known. He will be greatly missed. A private funeral was held November 26, 2023 in Ocala, FL. A Celebration of Richard's Life will be held in the near future for his many friends in The Villages. Robert (Bob) Hayen passed from this crazy world on November 18, 2023. He was 76 years old and lived in The Villages, FL where he and his wife have resided for 19+ years. Bob was born in Brooklyn, NY. Then as a young man his family moved to Hempstead, Long Island. He served in the Army infantry in Viet Nam from 1967 to 1969. When he returned stateside he started work with American Airlines as a ticket agent. He then moved up to a Passenger Service Manager at JFK airport. This is where he met and married his wife Chris. He then moved on to Americans headquarters. He became the Manager of Food and Beverage Operations. When headquarters moved to Texas so did he and his wife. He stayed with American Airlines for 34 years, where he made wonderful friends and thoroughly enjoyed life. After retiring from American both he and Chris loved fly fishing, golf and RVing. They traveled extensively and enjoyed life to the fullest. One of his favorite pastimes during their working years was their weekend lake house and boat and the many lifelong friends that were made. He is survived by his wife Christine and his daughter and son-in-law, Stacey and Matt Horseman and his 4-legged friend, Willow. Bob will be buried at , Bushnell, FL on Thursday, December 7, 2023 10:30 AM. The family would prefer donations to Bob's favorite charity, , in lieu of flowers.
