Sandra "Sandi" Lee Stevenson (Carr) passed away peacefully in her sleep the morning of 26 February 2024 in her Grand Junction Colorado home at the age of 75. Sandi spent the afternoons with her bowling league friends, playing with her furry dogs (past and present) and loved to garden and watch the butterflies and birds while sitting on her back porch. Sandi leaves behind her loving husband of 52 years, James Lee Stevenson, her son James Jr, her daughter LeeAnn, her brother Steve Carr, her five grand daughters Rebecca, Baylee, AJ, Justine and Holly, three grandsons Connor, Devin and Kash and her two great grandchildren Jeovany Leo and Melody Rosemarie.

George William Lewellen "Bill" passed away Sunday February 25, 2024 after a long illness at the age of 73.He was born April 15, 1950 in Del Norte, Colorado to George Lewellen and Glaydes Bauer. He served in the Army with an honorable discharge on April 1, 1972. He married the love of his life Lisa on June 5, 1982. He was an optician for over 40 years and worked for Darnell Optical, McKissen Optical and Dr. George Tull.His true joy and happiness was spending time with his family. He was a kind simple man and everyone who knew him loved him.He was preceded in death by his father, mother, brother and sister and son in law David King. He is survived by his wife Lisa, sons Kevin (Melissa), George "G.W", daughters Tawnya , Tiffany (Dustin). Donald Glenn Coulson, age 88 died February 20, 2024. He was born December 6, 1935 in Grand Junction. He was born to the late Kenneth Coulson Sr. and Mae Coulson. He had a brother Kenneth Coulson Jr. who proceeded him in death. He grew up in Grand Junction and graduated from Grand Junction Hish School in 1953. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served as a Private in the Korean conflict and spent time in Korea. After his time in the military, he lived in Grand Junction and married Anita Worsham, they had three daughters. They were later divorced. He worked as a postal worker, Freight delivery driver and later retired as a custodian for the school district. He enjoyed woodworking and making beautiful pieces and furniture for himself and others in his woodworking shop. In his earlier years he enjoyed showing horses, fishing, camping, and riding dirt bikes. Don met and fell in love with his longtime partner Beverly Manley, she proceeded him in death. He was dedicated to being a compassionate caregiver to her after she suffered a stroke, and did that for many years until her death. Don is survived by his daughters, Donita (Bob) Foust, Cindy (Darren) Starr, Laurie (Jim) Purcell, 6 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. Memorial Service/Military honors and internment will be held at the Grand Junction Veterans Cemetery, 2830 Riverside Parkway. 3:00 PM on March 22, 2024. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to Hope West\Hospice.

Sabrina Dawn Hartley Atwood tragically passed away while hiking with a dear friend on Wednesday, February 21st, 2024. She was born at an early age on April 10th, 1982 in Star Valley, WY. It was the beginning of a dynamic, adventurous life. In her childhood, she grew up in Wyoming where she lived in Star Valley, Cokeville, Kemmerer, and Evanston. In high school, she played softball, volleyball, and ran track. She was also active in student counsel, horse-showing, 4-H, and was a good friend. She especially adored animals and any random boyfriend her sisters brought home.She attended the College of Eastern Utah in Price where she ran track and played volleyball. It was there she met her adored husband, Jake Atwood. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple on June 8th, 2002. They lived in Salt Lake City while Jake attended the University of Utah and Sabrina worked at the Huntsman Cancer Institute. Jake’s schooling, Air Force service, and Prosthedontist career presented them with opportunities to live around the world and collect children and friends. Gage was born in Utah, Molli in Ohio, Daxlee in Texas, Pippa in Germany, and Henry in Colorado.While in Colorado, she coached high school volleyball, taught art classes at the local elementary, hosted swim lessons, was an advocate for anything her children wanted to participate in. She loved being with her family and friends, music, art, biking, hiking, jeeping, and traveling. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and had a deep and abiding testimony in Jesus Christ. Sabrina was a joy and an adventure, and had a great appreciation of the ridiculous. She was full of life, and her life was full because she loved her family and friends deeply. There was always room at her table. She will be greatly missed.She is survived by her beloved husband, Jake Atwood, and their children: Gage, Molli, Daxlee, Pippa, and Henry. Her parents, Ron and Claudia Hartley, and siblings: Diana (Kevin) Butler, Brenda (Richard) Bateman, Cindy (Tim) Allred, Jason (Marlena) Hartley, and Nathan Hartley. Her parents-in-law, Elwin & Peggy Atwood, and siblings-in-law: Jodi (Steve) Scott, Tyler (Hayley) Atwood, adopted brother Jacob (Tessa) Hatcher, and many nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.
