Obituary of Laura Cole Laura Evangeline (Bouton) Cole, 102, of Belvidere, NJ passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Rolling Hills Care Center, Lebanon, NJ. Born on June 18, 1916 in Demarest, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Warren Leavitt Bouton and Ada (Haff) Bouton. She attended schools in Demarest and Englewood, NJ. She and her late husband, Harold married in 1936 in Creskill, NJ. Laura worked several years for Lobel's at Bergen Mall, Paramus and later as a dental assistant. After moving to Richmond, PA, she worked in the Senior Center, Pen Argyl, PA. Laura enjoyed teaching Sunday school and singing in the church choir. While living in Richmond, she took painting lessons and had painted many pictures. She and her husband were active in the Demarest family Huguenot Society. They both loved their retirement house, Cold Spring Farm, in Richmond. They raised collies and enjoyed entertaining family and friends with picnics and meals. Laura will be missed by her sons, Harold Cole, Jr. of Hawthorne, NJ, David Cole of Belvidere, NJ; a daughter, Susan Kuebler and her husband Allen of Kinnelon, NJ; grandchildren, Matthew and Jared Kuebler, Pamela Conner and her husband Sean, Cynthia McNevin and her husband Michael; great-grandchildren, Landon, William, Morgan and Reese. She was predeceased by her husband Harold in 2004; a brother, Orson Bouton; sisters, Josephine Bouton and Hilda Quinn.
