Paul Feeney
Age - 53
November 30, 2023
Paul Michael, "Mike" Feeney, 53, made his last dramatic gesture, departing life on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, very much the way he lived; with no apologies and no regrets following an untimely accident in October. This, after making his grand debut on May 6, 1970, in Indianapolis, Indiana. A resident of "Everywhere" Indiana, for most of his life, Mike packed a thousand years of living into the 53 calendar years that he was given. A talented baseball player, Mike loved sports, specifically baseball, which he excelled at. So good in fact, that Mike was once scouted by, and tried out for the Indianapolis Indians as a young man. Mike also greatly enjoyed camping and was well known among his tight-knit circle of friends he often spent time with on the east side. Stubborn, hardheaded and a proud Irishman to his core, Mike was known from time to time, to take the term "fighting" Irish more literally than our mother often cared for; and could usually be seen proudly sporting various "badges of honor' throughout his life that generally resulted from a good "scrap," which. . . . he typically won. As a young man, he took particular joy in walloping those who underestimated him, or those who hurt people that he loved, a skill he only continued to hone as he aged. Most who knew him, would agree that there was little Mike loved more than his family, (except for a fat joint, cold Budweiser, warm Budweiser, generally ANY Budweiser and Notre Dame football. ) He was protective of his brothers and sisters, his nieces and nephews, his friends and his beloved life companion of fifteen years, Theresa. An avid lover of a great party, good music and a stiff drink, he definitely enjoyed his share of these things during his life, and probably your share too. He was far from perfect, and sometimes he was loud, usually he was hungry and often crazy, He was also humble, he was kind, he was accepting and the last one to judge others. For good or for bad, Mike lived his life the way that he wanted. . . out loud, and we will miss him always. Mike leaves behind a wonderfully witty family, (And we would like to mention that it's just like him to jump out first and leave his siblings behind to do all this damn work) Including his brothers, Kevin Feeney, Rick (Melissa) Devito, his sisters, Chrissy (Scott) Wang, and Ann Marie (Jason) Adams, son, Kyle Adkins, several nieces and nephews, and stepfather, Lonnie Schauwecker. He is preceded in death, by his father, Paul Feeney, and Mothers, Nora Feeney, Barbara Schauwecker, and fiance Theresa Hause. Dispensaries everywhere and the good people of Anheuser Busch join us in mourning this loss. A Celebration of Mike's life will be held Friday, December 1, 2023, from 5:30 -7:30 pm with a memorial service to immediately follow at 7:30 pm at Jessen Funeral Home & Simple Cremation ~ Whiteland Chapel.
