Larry Wayne Johnson, age 76, of Irma, WI, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on Friday, November 17, 2023, just hours after being referred to hospice. Larry courageously fought prostate and multiple myeloma cancer for four years with aspiration pneumonia taking him down further the past two months. Terese “Teri” L. Bellows, age 62, of Tomahawk, WI, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Aspirus Tomahawk Hospital. Teri was born in Chicago, IL, on December 15, 1961, to William and Theresa (Ziak) Kahren.Teri attended school in Illinois where she was a 1981 graduate. Shortly after, she moved to Wisconsin. Teri lived in several group homes and nursing homes throughout her life but recently, truly flourished socially and was always making friends and greeting the staff as they came in at Tomahawk Health Services. Teri was an avid Bears fan, but if they were losing, she would quickly switch channels to see how the Packers were playing. She expressed her own sense of style with her polished nails, purple hair, and the numerous bracelets she wore. She proudly wore these bracelets as they were the prizes she won playing bingo.Teri is survived by her brother, William Kahren.In accordance with wishes, no formal services will be held. David G. Long, age 83, of Tomahawk, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024 at his home.  He was born October 30, 1940 in Hilliard, Florida to the late Clarence and Flornia Long. Dave grew up in Florida, and later moved to Michigan, Milwaukee, Boulder Junction. He graduated from high school in Minocqua, WI. David then served his country in the United States Navy during the Cuban Missel Crisis.He moved back to Florida for several years. He was married to Carol Streeter on July 1, 1978; she survives. they moved back to Wisconsin, living in Merrill, Irma, and Tomahawk permanently in 1991. Dave had worked in construction, he was also a dispatcher, and volunteered as a D.J. at WXPR in Rhinelander. He worked for many years as a Web Designer, and started his own company called, Northgoods. He also started a computer user company in Tomahawk. Dave enjoyed books, old movies, history, the bible, and anything biblical. Most of all, he enjoyedspending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.He is survived by his Wife, Carol Long,2 Sons, Kelly Sean Long, and David Michael Long,2 Daughters, Kim Long, and Sarah Kromrie,his Brother, Jeff Long3 Sisters, Donna Long, Barb Morgan, and Cheryl Long4 Grandchildren and 2 Great GrandchildrenHe was preceded in death by his Father, Mother, and Step-Mother.Funeral Services for David Long will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024 at Northland Bible Church in the Town of Nokomis at 11 am with Pastor Alex Lindsay to officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 9 am until the time of services at 11. On February 8th, 2024, David Ashley Manninen, age 51, of Tomahawk went to his forever home with our Lord & Savior after a courageous battle with cancer.Dave was born on March 21, 1972 in Tomahawk and was a 1990 graduate of Tomahawk High School. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and worked as the Lincoln County Jail Administrator for many years. He was a lover of music, an expert grill master, avid fisherman, & lover of the outdoors.He was a dedicated father, beloved brother and son and a loyal friend. His laugh was contagious, his hugs were amazing and he was of course "The DAVE".He will be lovingly remembered by his sons; Michael (Wife: Taylour) and Josef Manninen. Mother; Suzanne Horn. Siblings; Valorie Nelson (Husband: Rick), Das Manninen (Wife: Lauren), and Tanya Manninen, his beloved niece’s and nephew’s, as well as numerous relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his Father, Floyd Manninen on Monday, February 25, 2019.Dave will be dearly missed by all. He also leaves behind his faithful companion his bullweiner dog, Olive.A Celebration of Life Gathering for Dave will be held Monday, February 19, 2024 from 4 pm to 8 pm at  Floyd's TimberTavern, 433 S. James A. Teal, age 80, of Deerbrook, WI, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at Tomahawk Health Services in Tomahawk, WI. Jim was born in Antigo, WI, on July 14, 1943, to the late Lyle and Mary (Pilecky) Teal. He married the love of his life, Janice Strandberg, on May 4, 1968.Jim grew up and attended school in the Antigo area. He voluntarily entered the military, honorably serving in the United States Army. After his discharge, Jim purchased a neighboring farm, and also owned and operated Teal’s Bar. Jim loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, Eagles Club, and the National Rifle Association. Jim was a dedicated, hard-working farmer who cherished time with his family as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.Jim is survived by his wife of over 55 years, Janice Teal; his sons, James Teal, Jasen Teal (Tara Hamilton), and Jesse Teal; his sister, Betty (Ray) Wild; and his grandchildren, Mickaela, Mackenzie, and Miranda Teal. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lyle and Mary; his brothers, Lyle and Robert; and his sisters, Mary Ann and Louise.A celebration of life with military honors will be held at a later date. Debra L. Kincaid, age 62, of Tomahawk, WI, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024. Deb was born in Racine, WI, on September 18, 1961, to Thomas Finn and Patricia Kaisler. She was married to Kenneth Kincaid on November 18, 2003; he survives.Deb was a 1979 graduate of Racine High School. After high school, she began employment at Case Corporation. Throughout her life, she worked in numerous waitress positions both in the Racine area and Tomahawk area, including Lanou’s and Bambinos. She was a gifted crafter who spent her days sewing and working on projects and enjoyed fishing and playing darts. Deb was a talented violist who played with the Racine Orchestra, the Wausau Symphony, and various weddings and events. Above all, Deb cherished time spent with her family.Survivors include her husband Ken Kincaid; and her sons, T.J. Finn and James Kincaid. Deb is further survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents.A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Nelda was born in Woodruff, WI, on July 24, 1950, to the late Frank and Dorothy (Gilham) Lobermieir.Nelda attended school in the Woodruff area. She entered the workforce holding various jobs before meeting her husband, Alan Jankowski. Nelda enjoyed bowling, golfing, and spending time with family and friends.Survivors include her son, Robby Jankowski; her daughters, Rhonda (David) Jankowski-Constantine, and Kelly Jankowski; her sisters, Mary Amant, Brenda Lobermieir, Dorothy Allen, and Karen Jacobson; her grandchildren, Ashton (Lexi) Jankowski, Keegan Terry, Tia Hoffman, and Kendra Jankowski; and her great-grandchildren, Emery Jankowski, Leilani Faust, and Allysandra Lopez. Nelda is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Judith “Judy” K. Fleming, age 75, of Tomahawk, WI, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at Aspirus Tomahawk Hospital. Judy was born on July 17, 1948, in Hammond, IN, to the late Ralph and Ann Miller.Judy grew up in Hammond, IN, and attended elementary school in Hegewisch, a neighborhood in Chicago. She was a 1966 graduate of South Side High School. After high school, she married Mike Fleming on April 23, 1966, in Crown Point, IN. They lived in Hammond for ten years before moving to Tomahawk in 1976. Judy worked as a waitress for both the Pine Tree and the Midget. She then worked at Our Place Assisted Living and later at Sacred Heart Hospital as an ERT/EMT for many years. Judy was a member of the motorcycle club, driving in the first years of the Tomahawk Fall Ride. She loved stamping, crocheting, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, her great-grandchildren, and her great-great granddaughter.Judy is survived by her husband of over 57 years, Michael Fleming, Sr.; her son, Mike (Tina) Fleming, Jr.; her daughters, Kim (Erv) Bruesewitz, Carrie (Jeff Koth) Fleming, Michelle (Paul) Patrick, Kristina (Alby) Julo; and Dawn (Doug) Mattern; and her sisters, Sharon Greer, and Doreen (Walter) Lenckos. She is further survived by eleven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Ann; and her brother.A celebration of life gathering will take place on Saturday, June 8, at Bradley Park, with the time to be determined. Gerald E. Roberts, 97, of Tomahawk, WI passed away Sunday, January 14, 2024 at Tomahawk Health Services. Gerald was born August 18, 1926 in Milwaukee the son of Leroy and Anna (Gough) Roberts. He was united in marriage to Wilhelmina (Renn) Basel on September 26, 1987 and she preceded him in death on February 18, 2019. Gerald served in the U.S. Army from 1944 to 1946.Surviving are his step-children, Mary Sann, Wausau; Jane (Russ) Penkalski, Stoddard; Ella Sheldon, Rhinelander; Joyce (Jack) Verbist, Tomahawk; Theresa Majerus, Port Washington; Delores (Phil) Miller, Wausau; niece, Mary Felzkowski, Tomahawk; 15 grandchildren, and many great and great-great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, June Behling; brother, Richard Roberts; nephew, Tom Behling and step-son, George Basel.Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 2024 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Tom Basani officiating.
