| | | LaJuan McCartney passed away May 8, 2023 at the Logan Manor in Logan at the age of 87. She was born April 15, 1936 in Hughes Springs, TX. Survivors include her daughter, Patricia McCartney of Phillipsburg; sons, Samuel of Dayton, OH & Mark of Phillipsburg; her brother, Lonnie Hill of Lone Star, TX; sister, Pansy Short of Dangerfield, TX; 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren & 1 great-great grandchild. Funeral services will be held Friday May 12 at 10:00 a. m. in the Heartland Worship Center, Agra, with Pastor Chris Baker officiating. The service will be streamed live on the Heartland Worship Center Facebook page. Burial will follow in the Agra Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 Wednesday & 9:00 to 9:00 Thursday at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel with the family receiving friends from 7:00 to 8:00 Thursday evening. Memorial contributions may be made to the Heartland Worship Center.
