Kyle Jerris Obituary

Kyle Nicholas Jerris, age 36, of Rome, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at an Atlanta hospital surrounded by his family. Kyle was born in Atlanta, Georgia on February 4, 1987, and raised by his parents, Keith Phillip Jerris and Jilletta Kay Jerris. He was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Juanita Duck Wheeler. He was a member of HBC Rome and worked as a subcontractor. Kyle loved golfing, hunting, baseball, Jujitsu, and the Florida State Seminoles. His smile lit up every room, and we will miss talking endlessly about sports, animals, of his family. Survivors include his loving parents, Keith & Jilletta Jerris; brothers and sisters, Danielle Jones, Carli Conley (Craig), Justin Gravitt, Callette Hollingsworth (Bryan), Carress Cason, Colton Jerris, Caleb Jerris (Wynne), and Emerson Jerris; eight nieces and nephews; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at 2pm at HBC Rome with Pastor David Harper officiating. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Wednesday from 6 until 8pm. The family invites everyone who knew Kyle to attend the visitation and service and remember his wonderful life. They ask that attendees wear casual bright colors.
