Shelby Fellhauer, age 91, of Urich, Missouri passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday November 24, 2023 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel in Clinton, Missouri with visitation from 1:00-2:00 PM prior to the service. Burial to follow in the Englewood Cemetery in Clinton, Missouri. Memorial contributions can be made to the Urich Baptist Church and may be left in care of the funeral home. Ray Shelby Fellhauer was born on January 9, 1932 in Clinton, Missouri to James Arlington Fellhauer and Georgia May (Hueitt) Fellhauer. On August 19th, 1955 he married Norma Jean Ricker, and to this union of 68 years they were blessed with two children Kenneth and Cathy. Shelby served in Germany with the U. S. Army. He worked at the GM Leeds Assembly Plant in Kansas City where he retired after many years. He was a longtime member of the Urich Baptist Church. Shelby loved his farm, teaching his grandkids to fish, and enjoyed gardening, he would give out vegetables to all his kids and grandkids. After retirement he and Norma loved attending their grandchildren's sports events. Shelby is preceded in death by his wife Norma Fellhauer, his parents James and Georgia Fellhauer, and his brother Willard Fellhauer. Survivors include his son Kenneth (Brenda) Fellhauer, his daughter Cathy (Mike) Spencer, 8 grandchildren; Monica Cook, Brandon (Janie) Staley, Jerrod (Beth) Fellhauer, Shauna Sterner, Kenny Fellhauer, Lauren (Chris) Phillips, Kayla (Matt) Harris and Alyssa (Kenneth Wheeler) Fellhauer, 19 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren, one brother Franklin Fellhauer, along with a host of other family and friends. Agnes (Aggie) Louise Heaton, 95 of Lee's Summit, Missouri, (formerly of Clinton) passed away October 17, 2023 at Princeton Senior Living Memory Care Center in Lee's Summit, Missouri. Agnes was born on July 14, 1928 in Cedar Falls, Iowa, to Roy Gemmiel Faulkner and Jennie Irene Moody Faulkner. She grew up and attended school in Cedar Falls, Iowa, graduating in 1946. On January 23, 1948, she married Gene Oliver Heaton in Great Lakes, Illinois. During their years of marriage they lived in Waukegan and Zion, Illinois; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; McComb, Ohio; Denver, Aurora and Fort Morgan, Colorado; North Platte and Scottsbluff, Nebraska; Chillicothe, Clinton, and Lee's Summit, Missouri. After high school, Aggie moved to Great Lakes, IL to work at Great Lakes Naval Base. After Gene was honorably discharged from the Navy, Aggie worked for the U. S. Air Force Logistic Medical Office in Denver, Colorado while Gene attended college. Aggie worked as a stay-at-home mom taking care of their three children while Gene worked for Phillips Petroleum Company. After staying home for 15 years, Aggie and Gene made a life change and bought the Central Motel in Fort Morgan, Colorado and moved the family there. In 1972 they sold the Central Motel and bought the Colonial-Best Western Motel in Clinton, Missouri, They sold the Colonial Motel in 1975 and bought a laundromat and car wash located in Clinton which they owned for a short time. After selling the motels, Aggie began working for the for the State of Missouri, Division of Employment Security, as an Employment Service Technician and retired in 1990 after working for 15 years. Their first son, James Heaton arrived in 1956, their second son, Thomas Heaton in 1958 and their daughter, Anne Heaton, in 1961. Aggie learned to play the piano as an adult and enjoyed having a pet parakeet, three dogs and continual cats throughout her marriage. She enjoyed playing bridge, reading, volunteering, square dancing, golfing, and camping. She also did some cross stitch, quilting and painting. During retirement Aggie and Gene enjoyed traveling around the United States as well as Europe, Mexico, Alaska, Canada, and Spain. She volunteered at the Clinton Hospital and the Henry County Museum. While living in Clinton, they were active members of the Clinton United Methodist Church and Clinton Country Club. Aggie also enjoyed helping out her children by watching her grandchildren when needed and attending their school and sporting events. Aggie helped care for her middle son, Tom, while he fought colon cancer until passing in 2017. In October of 2015 Gene and Aggie moved to Carlyle Senior Living in Lee's Summit, Missouri, and then in 2022 to Princeton Senior Living in Lee's Summit. Aggie was married for 75 years to her husband, Gene, who preceded her in death on April 4, 2023. She was also preceded in death by her son, Thomas Jay Heaton, her parents, Roy and Jennie Irene Faulkner; brother, Willis McMichael; and sister, Ila Kelley. Agnes is survived by her son, James (Jackie) Heaton of Warrensburg, Missouri, daughter, Anne (David) Millam of Lee's Summit, Missouri, seven grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and one brother-in-law, Wayne (Barbara) Heaton, along with several nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Princeton Memory Care staff and Traditions Hospice for their tireless care and support. A combined service for Agnes and Gene Heaton will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at 2:00 p. m. at Consalus Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri. Family visitation will be held immediately following the service. A private burial will be held at a later date.Show more

Anna Bancroft Kizer, 94, left to be with the Lord on August 25, 2023 with her family by her side. Anna Laura Bancroft, also known by "Ann" and "Laurie", was born on January 24, 1929, in Warrensburg, Missouri, the first daughter of John E. and Mildred F. Bancroft. She grew up in Chilhowee, Missouri on her parents' farm, "Mil-Jon Angus Farm", with 2 sisters Elizabeth and Mary. She actively participated in all the farming activities and fondly remembered riding her horse to school. She was a member of Chilhowee Baptist Church. Education was important to her and she was the first in her family to go to college. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from University of Central Missouri in 1950 and completed a Master's degree in nutrition in 1969. She served as a Home Economics Extension Agent in St. Clair County for a short time before beginning a teaching career of 32 years. She retired from Hickman Mills School District. She was a lifetime member of the National Education Association and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. For a short time, she owned and operated a flower shop in Warrensburg, MO. She married Philip Edwin Kizer on December 31, 1952 and they had 2 daughters, Kim Frasher (James) of Leeton, Mo. and Sybill Amelon (Joe) of Columbia, Mo and 1 granddaughter, Laurie Frasher (Jim McMeachin) of Columbia, Mo. Laurie is her grandmother's namesake, and was dearly cherished by Anna. Anna greatly enjoyed spending time with her family, working with flowers, dogs, sewing, classical music and reading. She was a selfless individual who preferred to do things for others rather than being in the limelight. We all benefitted from her gentle, kind, humble presence and her many works of service and help. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Kim (James) Frasher, Sybill (Joe) Amelon; grandchildren, Laurie Frasher (Jim McMeachin); sister, Elizabeth Dameron; nieces and nephews, John Dameron (Tammy), Eric Dameron (Peggy), LeeAnn Martin (Tony), Lisa Wickham (Doug), Kevin Preston (Vera), Robin Preston (Maria), Gayle Preston, Shane Preston (Annette) and many great-nieces and great-nephews who meant so much to her. She is preceded in death by her parents John and Mildred Bancroft, husband Philip Kizer, sister Mary Preston and nephews Monte Preston and Mitch Preston. To honor her request, there will not be a funeral service; however, a celebration of life service will occur at a later date.
