Kenneth J. Morra, known affectionately as Kenny by friends and family, passed away on his 68th birthday, November 27, 2023, at Hope Hospice in Providence, Rhode Island. Born in Pawtucket, RI on November 27, 1955 to the late Santo A. and Dorothy (McCallum) Morra, Kenny lived a life characterized by kindness, love and wisdom. Kenny is survived by his beloved wife, Marianne Knowles, and his cherished children: Kayla, Dylan, Andrew, and Joshua and he was predeceased by his son Jonah Morra. He was the proud grandfather of Brody and Carter, who brought him immense joy and laughter. His legacy continues through his siblings, Douglas Morra of Anchor Point, Alaska, Wayne Morra of Philadelphia, PA, Valerie Medeiros of Harmony, Maine, as well as many nieces and nephews who will miss his gentle guidance and warm presence. For over 19 years, Kenny dedicated his professional life to ensuring the safety and quality of drinking water as an Operator for the Pawtucket Water Supply Board (now Veolia). His commitment to his work and the well-being of his community was evident to all who knew him. Kenny's colleagues not only respected his expertise but also cherished his camaraderie and steadfast reliability. Kenny's passions extended beyond his professional life. He was an avid player of pool, darts, and softball, often found sharing laughs and friendly competition with friends. He always loved a good book or watching a good football game. A true nature lover at heart, Kenny relished the time spent outdoors, whether it was hiking through the serene trails of Rhode Island, cultivating his garden, or simply enjoying the tranquility of the beach. His affinity for animals was unmistakable, with a particular fondness for dogs, whose company he enjoyed immensely. Those who knew Kenny appreciated his loving nature and the kindness he extended to all. He was a beacon of intelligence, always ready to lend an ear or offer advice drawn from a well of wisdom. His spirit and legacy are an inspiration to all who had the honor of crossing paths with him. Kenny's life was a testament to the values he held dear--family, nature, and community. His memory will be treasured and kept alive in the hearts of his loved ones. He leaves behind a world that is undoubtedly better for his presence, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who were fortunate enough to know him. As we bid farewell to Kenneth J.
