Kenneth Robert Taylor of Cheswick, Pa. , (formerly Bedford, Pa. ) passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at the age of 56. Kenny was born Dec. 15, 1965, at Alexandria Hospital in Alexandria, Va. , and was preceded in death by his father, Robert Charles Taylor, of Virginia. He is survived by his mother, Edith Petersen (Beckert), and stepfather, Joel Petersen, of Fredericksburg, Va. ; his brother, Michael Taylor, and wife, Rita Taylor, of Heathsville, Va. ; stepsister Donna Davis (Petersen) and husband, Jeff Davis of Leesburg, Va. ; stepbrother, Mark Petersen, and wife, Susie Petersen, of Ashburn, Va. He is also survived by his son, Jesse Taylor, of Windsor, Va. (formerly from Bedford, Pa. ), and wife, Rachel Taylor (Altizer), and three grandchildren: Caleb Taylor, Katelynn Taylor and Corbin Taylor. He was a former Auto Sales Representative at Thomas Chevrolet and was successful throughout his career there in the 1990s and early 2000s. Recently and up until his death, he worked at Chelsea Building Products in Oakmont, Pa. , within the Pittsburgh area as a Production Technician. Kenny was known as a hard worker, talented in many ways, and had a funny personality. He also loved sports and was a devout Minnesota Vikings and Twins fan. He also had a love for cars and always talked about his Chevelle from when he was younger. Despite some of the struggles in his life, he was a great friend and found comfort in helping others out in similar situations when he could. He loved his family and always asked about each one of them. He was also not shy about his faith and love for God while studying the bible on a regular basis where he found peace and hope throughout the end of his life. He will truly be missed. Per his request, there will be a private service for the immediate family set at a later date.
