Kenneth Stuhr Obituary

Kenneth "Ken" Stuhr passed away on April 20, 2023, at the age of 75, following a three year battle with interstitial lung disease. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p. m. Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at Church of St. Timothy, 8 Oak Avenue North, Maple Lake, 55358 with Fr. John Meyer as Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Timothy's Catholic Cemetery, Maple Lake. A celebration of Kenneth's life will follow the service at the Maple Lake Legion with light refreshments. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation. Kenneth Thomas Stuhr was born January 4, 1948, to Harry and Mabel (Smith) Stuhr and raised in Maple Lake Minnesota. He resided in Big Lake, Minnesota much of his adult life and had a successful 43-year career with General Dynamics, retiring in 2010. Ken enjoyed traveling and spending time with friends and family. He was the planner for every adventure, whether it was snowmobile trips, motorcycle rides, or international travel. Ken would figure out what route to take, the best places to stop, and what to pack. And he was loved for it. Ken is survived by his cherished wife of 42 years, Maria Eugenia Garcia Huidobro Russi (Mani); his two sons, Cristian (Sandra) and Rodrigo (Jackie); four grandchildren Eric, Alec, Sebastian, and Lili; and other family members and friends.
