Kenneth Jackson Stewart, age 75, a resident of Tallassee, Alabama, was called to his heavenly home on Tuesday, September 6, 2023. He was born July 6, 1948. Visitation will begin at 9 am with funeral service to follow at 10 am on Monday, September 11, 2023 at Bethlehem East Baptist Church with Bro. John Sparks officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military honors. He is survived by his children, Rhonda Woodfin Gauthier, Ron Woodfin, Jackie Stewart (Allison) and Jennifer Watts (Tommy); brother, Danny Stewart; twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca "Becky" Stewart; parents, Jack and Hazel Stewart; brother, Mickey Stewart and granddaughter, Rebecca Lynn Woodfin. Kenny was a member of the Armed Forces for 27 years. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will forever be remembered by all who knew and loved him. Judi Parker, 77, of Tallassee, passed away on Monday November 20, 2023. She was born August 3, 1946 in Troy, Alabama and raised in Petrey, Alabama. The family will receive friends and family Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Linville Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation is at 1 pm with funeral service immediately following at 2 pm with Dr. Keith Ray officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Claude Parker; mother, Bessie Mae Hanchey Green; father, Roan Madison Green; sister Ouida Mae Hudgens and grandson C. J. Ledbetter. She is survived by her sons, Brandon (Glenda) Parker; Brent (Sheryl) Parker; daughter, Claudia Parker; brother, Aubrey Green; grandchildren, Chelsea (Drew) King, Hailey (Christian) Bennett, Caleb Parker, Madison (Roderick) Rodgers, Riley Trimble, Grayson Trimble, Catie Grace Parker and John Roan Parker: and nine great-grandchildren. Her hobbies included spending time with family and friends and with activities with Carrville Baptist Church, where she was a long and devoted member. She loved her church family and the many friends that she had there. She was an excellent cook and loved sharing meals with others when possible. She was a hard worker through so much of her life, selfless, and loved by so many friends and family. She was a loving wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and friend to many. She will be greatly missed by all that she touched in this life. Mickey B. Shaw, 74 of Tallassee, Alabama went to be with his Lord on Monday, November 13, 2023. He was preceded in death by his beloved father and mother, Grover and Evelyn Shaw. Mickey is survived by his wife of 57 years, Linda Shaw, son Travis Shaw (Tracy), and daughter Tara Woodfin. Grandchildren: Santina McLeod (Corey), Scott Lazenby, Justin Shaw, Charity Manning Shaw (Dustin), Taylor Woodfin, and Tyler Woodfin. Great grandchildren: Hunter McLeod, Cooper McLeod, Grayson Visuet, Lauren McLeod, Hudson Manning, and Evelyn Manning. Brothers are, Danny Ray Shaw (Jeanie), Gary Shaw, and David Shaw (Peggy), and nine nieces and nephews. His family was his greatest joy. He had written that, "My goal in life is to be as good a husband, father/grandfather as my father was. " He met that goal. -He was retired from Moody Tire Service in Montgomery. -Served 28 years in the 187th Security Forces Squadron, Alabama Air National Guard. -He had a passion for service and proudly served 3 terms as Elmore County Commissioner, District 2. -He loved the Lord and gave many years of service to Rock Springs Baptist Church. -He loved to make new friends, and did so with ease wherever he went. Visitation will be held November 15, 2023 6-8 pm Gassett Funeral Home, Wetumpka, Alabama. Michael C. Webster of Tallassee was called to his heavenly home on November 8, 2023, at the age of 74. He was born on May 7, 1949. He is preceded in death by his mother, Myrtle Melba Webster of Tallassee. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Ann E. Webster; brother, Jimmy Webster (Debbie); son, Christopher M. Webster (Melissa); daughter, Traci D. Webster (Rebecca); stepsons, Ryan Welch and Brandon Welch; granddaughters, Chelsey Webster, Cameron Hornsby, and Cailyn Hornsby; and a great-grandson, Landyn. Mike is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends, whom he loved dearly. Lastly, he is survived by his best friend, his poodle, Caylee, who never left his side. Mike was a proud member of the United States Army, serving in the war from 1968-1970, after which he served in the National Guard. Later in life, he was a strong advocate for the Wounded Warrior Project. Mike also protected his community for 17 years as a police officer, Sergeant, and later an Investigator for the Tallassee Police Department. He was also a dedicated believer of the Christian faith, which meant a lot to him throughout his life. If you knew Mike, you knew that he loved to make people laugh and always had a joke ready for any situation. Mike had a notable compassion for animals, which could be seen in the care of his beloved dogs. He was a big fan of Alabama football and loved the fall weather, when you would find him outside most days. His pride was the work he put into his yard to make it as beautiful and inviting as possible. One of his favorite pastimes was arrowhead hunting, which brought a lot of happy memories for him and those that got to join him. No service is planned at this time. There will be a private memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to St. Jude's Hospital.
