It is with great sadness that the family of Thomas (Tommy) Lario Shildrick announce his passing at Four Counties Hospital in Newbury, Ontario on Sunday, October 29 , 2023 of Alvinston and Chippewas of the Thames First Nation in his 61st year. Beloved husband of Jacqueline Riley. Loving father of Amanda Riley, Emily Shildrick, and Christopher Shildrick. Proud grandpa of Mshkode Hendrick, Ningozis Hendrick, Quinn MacDougall, Tate Galloway Shildrick, Troy Galloway Shildrick, and Ava Galloway. Cherished son of Dorothy and the late Robert Shildrick. Survived by his siblings Aerial Olivet, Richard Shildrick (Linda), Deborah Coons (Richard), Robert Shildrick, Julie Cheyne (Chris), and Robin Johnson (Bill). Tommy was born in Catskill, New York, raised his children in Alvinston, Ontario. He was a proud father, who was passionate about physics, science, nature, and beekeeping. He will be remembered for his beautiful smile, a star-gazing dreamer, with a caring heart, who had the ability to more often than not leave you with a spark of endless imagination and possibility. Tom will be lovingly remembered by many auts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and neighbours of Chippewas of the Thames First Nation, Germantown, New York, and Alvinston, Ontario. Doug Davis, formerly of Komoka, passed away on Thursday, October 19 , 2023, in his 68 year. Doug will be missed immensely by his brothers Ray (Jan), Jim (Rita), and Gerald. He will also be deeply missed by his sisters Joy (Ross) and Ann (John), along with his sister-in-law Diane (late Phil). Doug leaves behind his nieces and nephews, whom he adored - Brianne, Paul, Andrew, Connor (Tanya), Corrin (Cam) and Jessica. He will be fondly remembered by his many aunts and uncles. Doug was predeceased by his father Ron Davis (2020), his mother June Davis (2021), his brother Philip Davis (2020) and his niece Shelby (1991). As per Doug's wishes, cremation has taken place.
