"Kenneth David Dossett, age 85, of Portage, IN passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023 in Valparaiso, IN. He was born on March 21, 1938 in Knoxville, TN to Hubert and Alice Virginia Dossett. Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Dawn Dossett; sons, Brian (Sheila) Dossett and Steven Dossett, Sr. ; daughter, Veronica (Jimmy) Norwood; sister, Patricia (Butch) Graham; sister-in-law, Marjorie (Bill) Frisby; 14 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by father, Hubert Dossett; mother, Alice Virginia Dossett; brother, John Steven Dossett and grandson, Shawn Matthews. Kenneth was a loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed being outdoors among nature, in his younger years he often would take walks or hikes with his wife Dawn. He loved to work with electronics, and would often be found tinkering with gadgets. Kenneth will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral Ceremony will be held on Monday, May 15, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Edmonds \u0026amp; Evans Funeral Home Portage Chapel, 6941 Central Avenue, Portage, IN 46368. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm at the funeral home, following service he will be laid to rest at Heritage Cemetery in Portage, IN.
