Alice J. Cornwall, 88, of Lake in the Hills, died peacefully with family by her side on November 7, 2023. Alice was born May 29, 1935, the daughter of Frank and Genevieve Wojcik. On January 30, 1954, she married John Cornwall, the love of her life. She worked for Schaumburg School District 54 in accounts payable for many years. Alice adored her grandsons and loved spending time with them. Alice had a huge impact on her grandsons and the men they are today. She and her husband enjoyed traveling and gambling at the casinos. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt who will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her children, Carolyn (Ron) Murray and John Cornwall III, her grandson Connor; her sister, Barbara (Bob) Seputis; and many loving nieces and nephews. Proceed in death by her parents, husband, and her grandson, Kyle. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023, from 9:00 a. m. until the time of the 10:00 a. m. Angelo Porrovecchio, 63, of Lake in the Hills, passed away on October 18, 2023. Angelo was born in Cleveland Ohio on October 22, 1959, along with his twin sister Rose, to parents Francesco and Mary Ann (Madonia) Porrovecchio. Angelo met his soulmate, Nora Mazzola through mutual family. They fell in love and got married on October 28, 1995. Angelo was a devoted husband, father, and uncle. Angelo was a selfless man who absolutely adored his family and would do anything for them. He loved deeply and fully and never held anything back. Anything Angelo did, he did with his whole heart. Angelo was a loyal friend to many and was the first one to show up whenever anyone was in need. He had a great sense of humor, smiled easily, and laughed often. Angelo was a hard worker, and he taught his family the value of a good work ethic. Angelo worked his entire career as a Plant Engineer for UPS. Even though he was a supervisor to many, he was never afraid to roll up his sleeves, get dirty, and work alongside his employees, day or night, until the job was done. In Angelo's spare time, he enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing. Those who knew Angelo will miss him dearly. Angelo is survived by his loving wife Nora Porrovecchio, his daughters Sofia (Marko Saric) Porrovecchio, Daniela Porrovecchio, Analisa Porrovecchio, his mom Mary Ann Porrovecchio, sister Rose (Tim) Mansell, niece Madeline Mansell, nephew Nicholas Mansell and his mother-in-law Marianne Mazzola. Angelo is proceeded in death by his father Francesco Porrovecchio. Mass will be held on October 28, 2023, at 10:00 am with an hour visitation prior. Patrick M. Kenney, 63, of Lake in the Hills, died peacefully, October 7, 2023 at home with his family by his side. Patrick was born June 7, 1960, the son of Daniel and Patricia Kenney. On November 16, 1985 he married Joanna Ryan. He worked for Motorola for 15 years in Radio repair and shipping. He was a Chicago Sports fan, wrote poetry and loved music of all kinds. He was a loving husband, father, Pepa, brother, cousin and friend who will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Joanna Kenney, his children, Sean (Amanda) Kenney, Melissa (Brian) Le Van, Bryan (fiancee, Kaitlyn) Kenney, by his six grandchildren, Jackson, Lexie, Casey, Cody, Kylie, and Lucas, by his siblings, Tony Skiba, Danny (Christine) Skiba, and by his mother-in-law, Jo Ryan and aunt, Tracy Walker. Sister-in-laws Joan Ryan and Pam Irish. He is also survived by many nieces and one nephew. Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Dorothy Lawrence, and his sister-in-law, Joyce Skiba. Robert H. Vanderbrugen, 69, of Lake in the Hills, passed away on September 5, 2023. Robert retired from the United States Postal Service after a 30 year long career. Following that, Robert worked as a reporter for the Democrat News newspaper. He also worked as an award-winning Professional photographer, published poetry writer, and graduated from Pima Community College. Robert loved all things Star Trek, reading, and a hearty meal. Those who knew Robert will miss him dearly. Robert is survived by his daughters Dawn (Milan) and Gina (Bill), his brother James, sister Virginia and his grandson Jake. Anna Reiter, 82, of Lake in the Hills, passed away on August 6, 2023. Anna was born in Hungary on May 7, 1941, to parents Andres and Anna (Gastl) Preckl. Anna married her soulmate Josef "Emil" on September 12, 1959. She was a loving wife, mother, tante and oma. Anna absolutely adored her family, and they meant the world to her. Anna and her late husband Emil were heavily involved in the German community. They were involved with multiple clubs and were even crowned Prince and Princess of Mardi Gras. Anna lit up every room she entered, those who know her will remember her fondly and will miss her deeply. Anna is survived by her children, Angela (Mike) Kuilan and Jack (Annette) Reiter; cherished Oma of Amelia Rose and Joseph Thomas; dear sister of the late Andreas (Elizabeth), the late Franz, Eva (the late Peter) Schmidt, Rosina (the late Rudy) Matijevic, the late Theresia (the late David) Taylor, Maria (Jerry) Meyer, Johann (Asena) Preckl, sister-in-law, Emilie Reiter, and her many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. On April 27, 1957 she married Louis Caputo. She worked at Marshall Fields for many years and had a great sense of fashion. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, cooking and shopping. Dolores enjoyed being home with her family. She was a loving wife, mother and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
