Kellie S. Williams, 48, of Vincennes, IN passed away Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN. She was born in Hammond, IN January13, 1975 the daughter of James Williams and Karen (Whitehead) Williams. Kellie was the manager of the Subway in Vincennes, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, also her grandmother, Barbara Whitehead. Kellie enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her dogs, Scrappy and Sadie, crafting, fishing and listening to music. Survivors include a son, Joshua D. Kourtis of Vincennes, IN, a brother Zackory Hay ( Jessica) of Vincennes, IN, sister, Kristina Aguila (Chris) of Reno, Nevada, five grandchildren, Karson Kourtis, Cohen Squire, Kannon Windle, Alexis Windle, and Teagen Kourtis. There will be no services, cremation is scheduled. There will be a celebration of life at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Newkirk's Funeral Home.

Sandra Ellen Kincaid, age 79, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away on Saturday, December 09, 2023 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana. She was born on August 17, 1944 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Gola and Dorothy (Stone) Waller. She married Norman Kincaid on July 30, 1961, and he preceded her in death on October 26, 2006. Sandra worked for Peoples National Bank in Lawrenceville for 18 years and the Bank of Edwardsville for five years. She was a member of the Lawrenceville Free Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School, sang in the choir, and was on the board of administration. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; one brother, Dennis Waller; one sister, Shirley Crutchfield; and one son, Nathan Kincaid. Survivors include two sons, Brian Kincaid and wife, Isabella of Boca Raton, Florida and Ross Kincaid and Jennifer Sorg of Swansea, Illinois; one brother, John Waller and wife, Shirley of Lawrenceville, Illinois; two sisters, Elaine Miller and husband, Walter and Beth Davis and husband, Tom all of Lawrenceville, Illinois; four grandchildren, Erin Kincaid, Maeve Kincaid, Ethan Kincaid, and Abrielle Kincaid; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 12:00 PM CST at the Lawrenceville Free Methodist Church, located at 1008 Maple Street in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will be on Saturday from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM CST at the church. Burial will be in the Lawrenceville City Cemetery. Frank Joseph Kahre 85, a lifelong resident of Vincennes, passed away in Vincennes, Indiana, on December 9, 2023. Born on July 20, 1938, to the late Cecelia Thais Kahre and Frank Carl Kahre , he was a man whose life was marked by kindness, humor, and dedication to his community. After graduating from Central Catholic in 1956, Frank proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force. He carried the discipline and commitment from his military service into his civilian life, where he embarked on a career as an insurance agent, for over two decades. His professional journey did not end there, as he later took on roles at GSH, and even after retirement, sought to contribute to the community through his work at Ewing Printing. An active member of Knights of Columbus, Frank embodied the organization's principles of charity and fraternity. Recognized with an honorary lifetime membership and a third-degree member status, he also served as a past Grand Knight. His Catholic faith was central to his life, and he was a devoted parishioner of St. John's Catholic Church. Family was the cornerstone of Frank's existence. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Catherine "Katy" Kufner Kahre, and their son, Frank Kahre. Grieving the loss of their patriarch are his grateful children, Dave Kahre (Gayle), of Franklin, Stephen Kahre (Kimiko), Christina McCrary (Scott) both of Vincennes. His love and lessons live on in his grandchildren, Nathan, David, Jacob, Melissa, and Shawn Kahre, and Gus and Kahre McCrary. Frank's siblings, Jane Shafer of Vincennes and Bill Kahre, of Avon share the loss of their brother, along with the cherished memories of their shared upbringing in Vincennes. He joins in rest a grandson Ken Kahre, his sister, Ellen Kahre, and brothers, Michael and Steve Kahre, who all predeceased him. There will be a visitation on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home, Vincennes Chapel from 4:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. Richard R. Malott, 75, of Vincennes, IN, passed away Tuesday December 5, 2023 at his residence. Richard was born January 16, 1948 in Vincennes the son of Herbert and Mildred Fields Malott. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School and he served his country in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. He married Sharon Boger on Jan 28, 1968 and they made their life together for 44 years until her death on November 20, 2012. Richard was a heavy equipment operator through the Union Local 841 during his working career. He held memberships in the American Legion, Knox County Sportsman's Club, Coon Hunters Club, and a former member of the Vincennes Boat Club. He is survived by his children, Amy McCoy, and her husband Greg of Vincennes and Rick Malott, and his wife Birgit of Bicknell, IN. Grandchildren, Ryan (Amy) Malott, Kirsten (Shawanna) Malott, Trevor (Makayla) Malott, Greg (Joanna) McCoy Jr, Macie (Josh) Ivers, Courtney (Randy) Stafford, Payton ( Christian) Starnes, Kylie (James) McCoy, TyeBoy McCoy and Taydum McCoy and 17 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Terry Malott of Vincennes, Herb (Lee Ann) Malott of Vincennes and a sister Cindy Faith of Vincennes, IN. Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Malott, his parents, a brother, Randy Malott and a sister, Helen Jean Wright. Patricia A. Later, age 91, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2023, in Seymour, Indiana, her home after a life rich in family and community connections in Vincennes. Born on April 1, 1932, in Vincennes, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Christopher and Lovina (Richardville) Kotter. Patricia's life was one of dedication, love, and steadfast faith, reflected in her longstanding marriage to the late Dean Later after their union at St. Thomas Catholic Church on November 17, 1951. Patricia's memory will be held dear by her loving family, including her children, Deborah Frey (Dennis) of Seymour, Frank Later (Sarah) of Anderson, Christopher Dean Later (Patricia) of Washington along with her daughter-in-law, Cindy (Later) Russel, wife of the late Stephen Later" of Vincennes. She was a beacon of joy in the lives of her grandchildren Nathan Frey, Ryan Frey, Patrick Frey, Aaron Frey, Stephanie Latta, Keith Later, Kristen Stout, Alicia O'Maley, and Erica Hill, as well as her seventeen great-grandchildren. Her sister, Carolyn Pohl of Vincennes, also survives her. Patricia's legacy extends beyond her immediate family, touching the lives of all who knew her. With a sorrowful heart, we recognize that Patricia was preceded in death not only by her husband, Dean, but also by her beloved sons, Edward and Stephen Later, a cherished grandson, Nicholas Later, and her dear siblings, Norman, Herbert, Ralph, James, Bob Kotter, Janet Perry, and Linda Kotter. Patricia's role as a devoted homemaker was the cornerstone of her life, evident in her joy of spending time with her family. She was an active member of her community, where her faith guided her service through the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary, St. Thomas Alter Society, and her dedicated participation on the St. Thomas Parish Council, where she served two terms. Her inexhaustible involvement in the church was one of the many ways she expressed her commitment to her beliefs and her community. The void left by Patricia's departure is immense, yet her spirit and the love she fostered in her family and community will continue to inspire and guide those who had the privilege of knowing her. Her journey on earth may have ended, but the impact of her generous heart and unwavering commitment to her loved ones will resonate for generations to come. Bonnie D. Sorensen, 74 of Vincennes, IN, passed away Tuesday November 28, 2023 at Richland Bean Blossom Health Center. Bonnie was born May 6, 1949 in Vincennes the daughter of Jack and Norma Fiddler Turner. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School and Vincennes University. She worked as a secretary in the Radiology Department of Good Samaritan Hospital where she retired. She held membership in the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, and formerly at 1st Church of God. She served her country in the U. S. Army having attained the rank of Staff Segarent. She was active with the Knox County Humane Society. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and she will be missed by her constant companion "Macadoo"Bonnie is survived by daughters, her namesake, Bonnie Suzanne Corwin and her husband Christopher of Charlotte, NC and Amy Catherine Fesler and her husband Jonathon of Bloomington, IN. She is also survived by a granddaughter, Abigail Corwin and is expecting her second granddaughter, Gwen Fesler around Christmas and a brother, Jack Turner of Robinson, IL.
