Bobby Gene Ferguson

Bobby Gene Ferguson, of North Richland Hills, Texas, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at the age of 90. Bobby was born on May 30, 1933 in Grayson County, Texas, to Wendell Fuller Ferguson and Lucy Faye Ferguson. Bob grew up in Southmayd, Texas where he attended Southmayd High School. During his time in school he played basketball and was valedictorian of his senior class, 1951. Upon graduating high school, he married Patsy Kay Rice Ferguson, together they built a foundation of love and trust, creating a haven of love within their home. Once establishing their foundation, they moved to Houston where Bob was drafted in 1953 into the army, then stationed in Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas. After his military service, Bob worked as an apprentice pressman in Denison Texas at Gavrin Press. He then spent a few years working for the company in Danville, Kentucky. Eventually, the family returned to Fort Worth - Mid cities area where Bob worked for Steven’s Corporation from 1962 - 1979 and achieved vice president of sales. They relocated once more to Phoenix, where Bob worked for B. Bunch Company in sales. He then retired in 2005 and returned to Texas, to North Richland Hills to be near family. Bob loved to play golf and to read, and enjoyed many life long friendships, but mostly loved being with his family. He is preceded in death by his Father, Wendell Fuller Ferguson; Mother, Lucy Faye Ferguson; Daughter, Sheree Renee Ferguson Weeks. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 71 years, Patsy Kay Ferguson; Children, Mark Ferguson, Paige Ferguson Baxter, Kelly Ferguson; Sister, Nelda Colvin; Nine Grandchildren, Jeramy, Canyon, Collin, Brian, Brent, Blake, Emily, Andy, Katie; 15 Great-Grandchildren, Christian, Rhiannon, Caiden, Madelyn, Dani, James, Oliver, Noah, Jonah, Joshua, Elle, Maisy, Rylee, Avani, Camp; Three Great, Great-Grandchildren, Kylie, Carter, Lacey; and many other extended family members.

Nancy S Mayer, Beloved daughter of Albert & Alice Cignetti (deceased) and the youngest daughter of seven siblings, departed this world on February 4th, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She has joined her beloved husband of 54 years, Loyal B Mayer, who passed away in May 2017. Nancy will be deeply missed and forever cherished by her four loving children: Lori Lett, Nancy Mayer,Mary Willis and Chris Mayer. She was a devoted member of the Catholic Church and found joy in her faith. Nancy dedicated over 20 years of her life as a beautician, bringing beauty and grace to those around her. Her legacy lives on through her nine adoring grandchildren, who were a source of immense pride and joy for Nancy. Nancy's Kindness, warmth, and unwavering love will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Though she may be gone, her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were touched by her gentle nature. We mourn the loss of nancy but find comfort in the beautiful memories she leaves behind. May she rest in peace, forever loved, forever remembered.

Larry Stephen Baker, age 81, born March 21, 1942, passed away February 10, 2024 in North Richland Hills, Texas. Larry was born March 21, 1942. After graduating high school he went on to attend TCU. He attended church at the Center for Spiritual Living. One of his most notable achievements was becoming an A-Class racquetball player. He was also accomplished in owning several successful businesses. In his downtime, Larry enjoyed playing golf, pickle ball, as well as other games. He also enjoyed photography. His memory lives on in his children Pamela Baker Hudson, George Walker, Scott Baker, and Melissa Baker Mask; grandchildren Kathryn A. O’Briant, McKenzie O. Joiner, Abigail E. Mask, Clara M. Mask, and Emily A. Mask; great grandchildren Slade Joiner, Elizabeth Joiner, and Xander Mask; siblings Terri Meyers and husband Denny, Todd Baker, Kevin Baker and wife Caryn; 12 nieces and nephews as well as several great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Milan George Baker and Ruby Baker, Emeline Baker Bobbitt, Carol Baker Adcock, and Timothy George Baker. A Celebration of Life will be held in Larry’s honor at JE Foust and Son Funeral Home on Friday, February 16th at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Larry’s memory to the SPCA or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

?Our beloved, Lee Roy Milam Jr., who was my uncle and my mother's brother was stricken ill after this recent cold spell and has gone home to be with our Christian Father and our Heavenly Milam family on Thursday, February 8, 2024. ?He was born July 2, 1952 in Fort Worth, Texas and a Army veteran who served in the All-American 82nd Airborne and was a direct descendant of, Ben Milam. He had very strong faith in Jesus and always started his day with some Daily Bread or Bible reading. He was a blessing to our family and to everyone he loved. He adored the Isaacs, Gaither's, Booth Brothers and everything Classic & Godly. He worked at O'Reilly Auto Parts for 17 years and enjoyed parts delivery which he has done most of his life. My mother and I are devastated and at a loss for our thoughts, but we will continue to pray for God's love and guidance in Jesus' name. Lee Roy is survived by his sister, Geneva Milam Mitchell and nephew, John Mitchell.

Robyn Renee Walker, 45, of North Richland Hills, Texas, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2024, after a long hard-fought battle with cancer. Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday, February 16, 2024, at Center Point Church, North Richland Hills. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m., with a rosary at 6 p.m., on Thursday, February 15, 2024, in Mount Olivet Chapel. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the North Richland Hills Animal Shelter. Robyn was born April 25, 1978, in New Orleans, Louisiana, the daughter of Kermit C. Teppen and Gayle France Hazelwood. She came to Fort Worth, as a baby and was raised here, and graduated from Keller High School in 1996. She pursued her music passion after high school. Robyn worked for Zale's Corp. for many years and bought her house in North Richland Hills, where she resided till her passing. She married the love of her life, Jimmy Walker Jr., on February 21, 2016. In May of 2017, she changed careers and went to work for the city of North Richland Hills police department, a job she loved until her passing. Robyn was very involved at Center Point Church for many years, singing in the choir and teaching "her girls," as she called them. She loved the Lord with all her heart. Robyn was preceded in death by her stepdad, Howard Hazelwood; stepmom, Martha Teppen; and sister, Tracy Teppen. Survivors include her husband, Jimmy L. Walker; her father, Kermit Teppen Jr. (Sherry); mother, Gayle Hazelwood; sisters, Nicole Puckett (Chad), Renee Hazelwood, Mandy Thanscheidt (Artie); brothers, Robert Hazelwood (Jaime) and Matt Hall (Julie); stepbrother, Rusty Dintelman (Nicole); and stepsister, Amy Robinson (Joe); along with being an aunt to numerous nieces and nephews, and a beloved friend to many.

Lt. Colonel Richard McGill

Lt. Colonel Richard “Dick” McGill passed away on February 8, 2024, at the age of 89 at his home in North Richland Hills, Texas. His battle with serious heart issues and strokes in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with his wit and smiles. As in life, Dick was a hero and stayed strong until the end, always putting others and his family first. As a child, Dick loved sports, excelled at school, and proclaimed his goal to become a “pilot” when he grew up. His dream was fulfilled when he graduated high school early and went on to college to get the two-year requirement to enter into the Air Force Cadet Flight Training. Achieving the rank of Lt. Colonel and a stellar 22 years of service, Dick retired from the Air Force to go on to a successful career as a private commercial pilot. After he was awarded numerous medals, mostly from 3 tours in Vietnam, he was presented the Distinguished Flying Cross for Heroism during battle. After Vietnam, he went on to finish his distinguished career at Carswell Air Force Base, bringing him to Fort Worth, Texas. Dick met the love of his life while picking up his mail, a beautiful young postal worker named Rose who he was immediately smitten with. That is when their 42 years together started, of which 32 years of marriage and family began. As a blended family, between Dick and Rose, they had 5 children, 9 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. He also was blessed with 2 loving sisters, Jan and Sharon. Dick McGill: pilot, veteran, war hero, athlete, world traveler, golfer, family man, and avid competitive bridge player loved his family, always thinking of them first. Dick had a wonderful sense of humor and loved ribbing everyone and could also laugh at himself. His dedication to his family and country will be missed by all. As always, he will be looking down from Heaven watching over us.

Kenneth Seargeant, a beloved husband, brother, and proud Navy veteran, passed away peacefully in North Richland Hills, on February 5th, 2024. Born and raised in Irving, Kenneth shared a close bond with his siblings, Charles, Sharon, and Randy. His life was forever changed when he met Linda Seargeant in junior high, their love blossoming into a lifelong partnership, culminating in marriage on August 28th, 1972. Serving his country with honor, Kenneth spent four years in the Navy before dedicating himself to a successful career in auto painting and construction. Known for his unwavering work ethic and generosity, Kenneth leaves behind a legacy of love, commitment, and service to his family and community. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A true outdoorsman at heart, Kenneth found solace and joy in his love for fishing, particularly for catfish and crappie, relishing every moment spent on the serene waters of the lake. He shared this passion with his beloved wife, Linda, their shared hours on the shore casting lines together becoming treasured moments of connection and tranquility. Additionally, Kenneth was a dedicated fan of Dallas sports, with a particular fervor for football, supporting his beloved Dallas Cowboys with unwavering enthusiasm. His love for the outdoors and sports will forever be remembered. Kenneth was the epitome of a true friend, his warmth and generosity extending to all who crossed his path. He possessed a rare quality of selflessness, always willing to give the shirt off his back to lend a helping hand. His heart overflowed with love not only for his cherished wife Linda and their two children, Jennifer and Will, but for everyone in his circle. Kenneth's passion for cooking was strong and he delighted in the art of grilling or frying just about anything. Kenneth had a loving family. Losing someone close is never easy, but it's heartwarming to know that he left behind such a legacy through his children, Will and Jennifer, grandchildren, Zane, Asher, Layla and Cooper, and a great-grandchild, Lucas. The service will be help at Grapevine Lake on Saturday, February 17th, 2024, from 1-5 PM. The address of the pavilion is Twin Coves Park, 5001 Wichita Trail, Flower Mound, Texas 75022. This is a Celebration of Life for Kenneth.  His wishes were for everyone to have fun and share stories and smiles. Not to be a sad occasion. Luke 23:43 - And he said to him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”
